Breakfast was very nice, lots of options to choose from
On arrival we entered via the rear entrance, where there was a poster displaying several phone numbers to call for check-in. Unfortunately, none were answered, which meant walking through the back of a busy tea room and waiting next to diners while trying to check in. This wasn’t the most comfortable first impression. The room was also smaller than expected for the price, and although the description mentioned a terrace, we didn’t see a private terrace associated with the room—only the shared garden area we passed through. During our stay it was quite busy, and as the rooms are very close together, noise was noticeable at times.

The building was beautiful and the staff were lovely. Friendly and welcoming. The room was larger than most though because of shape first twin bed very near the entry. Not a complaint as the building is the shape it is. Tea room itself was gorgeous and breakfast lovely. Breakfast is served before the cafe opens which was nice
The first bed was on a slope due to the floor and old building. Again not a complaint but maybe should have been informed so we could decide if we were happy with that.
