About this house rental
The lovingly renovated natural stone house ‘Dubbione’ is located in a characteristic village on the hills of Lucca.
The corner house of a group of houses has three floors and is located 400 meters above sea level. Almost all rooms offer a magnificent view of the Lucca plain and the Pisan mountains.
Here you can enjoy the Tuscan atmosphere and a moderate climate even on hot summer days.
The area around Lucca offers varied landscapes and historical sights.
The convenient location allows for easy trips to Florence (70 km), Pisa (30 km), Lucca (12 km), the Garfagnana nature reserve (30 km), and the beaches of Viareggio (35 km). Or visit some of the surrounding historic villas, the wind caves near Barga (50 km), the Pinocchio Park in Collodi (15 km), the market in Lucca...!
The house is cozy yet modernly furnished. It has a living room, two bathrooms, and four bedrooms, each for two people.
Bed linen, towels, and kitchen linen are provided.
You can sit together comfortably at the large table in the spacious kitchen on the ground floor. This is modern and functionally furnished.
There are also storage rooms and a washing machine at your disposal.
The absolutely quiet seating area is located in the olive grove about 100m below the house. Garden furniture and a parasol are available in the garden shed.
On-site support: The caretaker will hand over the keys on site. She lives in the immediate vicinity of the rental property and is easily accessible.
The rental is handled by the homeowner. He can always be reached by phone during the rental period.

casa confortevole e ben tenuta. La custode molto gentile e disponibile. Peccato la posizione un po' difficile da raggiungere con un pulmino nove posti causa strade strettine..

4 Schlafzimmer mit 8 Schlafplätzen und zwei WC's mit Dusche und Badewanne, eine gemütliche Wohnküche, Ort ist ideal um von dort aus die Toskana zu erkunden. Geeignet für sportliche Velofahrer oder Familien die Ausflüge in der Toskana unternehmen wollen. Kommunikation mit Inhaber sowie Schlüsselübergabe erfolgten problemlos. Sitzplatz im Olivenhain zum Sitzen geeignet, jedoch nicht für Sonnenanbeter geeignet. Grosser Supermarkt (Esselunga) gleich am Fusse des Hügels im nächsten Dorf, was doch vieles erleichtert.

Una estancia muy agradable! Matraia es un pueblecito muy pequeño y rural con unas vistas impresionantes! Se come muy bien en la osteria vecina, sobretodo los tortellini al ragú.
La casa es muy antigua, esta reformada, todo en orden y bien provista de todo lo necesario para pasar unos dias! Quiza le falta tener wifi ya que los megas se acaban rapido y era imposible consultar informacion para las excursiones y la informacion que habia en la casa estaba solo en aleman!😓�
Muy confortables las camas, colchones nuevos y almohadas impecables!! Ha sido una experiencia muy agradable en la casa de Matraia que recomendaria a otras personas!

Also, es war Urlaub und er war schön, aber es war nicht unser schönster Italien-Urlaub!
64 Kurven (unsere Enkel zählten immer mit) und schmalste Strassen mit überaus rasanten italienische Autofahrern-wer da zögerlich und unerfahren ist, hat verloren.(Gut das ich 1,5 Millionen km Fahrpraxis habe-nach 2 Tagen Streckenstudium bin ich mitgefahren!)
Ein wirklich autentische Italienhaus, liebevoll saniert, zweckmäßig eingerichtet, allerdings, die Gästebetten überall, nichts so richtig für erholsamen Urlaub, jedenfalls für uns Rückenleidende.
Vielleicht könnten Sie mal über Fliegengitter für die Fenster nachdenken, im Urlaub sind die Tage länger und irgendwann kommen die Biester. Der Hof sollte ein bißchen sauberer
( Hundedreck) sein und die Garagentore der Nachbarn auch (jeden Morgen 04:00 Uhr Quietsch-Alarm, das war echter Stress!!)
Das die italienische Lebensweise die Nacht einbezieht, wußten wir, haben wir ausgehalten, Ruhe wars aber nicht!
Schlimm fanden wir allerdings den Grill- und Ruheplatz im Olivenhain. Für uns als Mittelalterurlauber eine echte Herausforderung. Das war ein echtes Manko!!
Vielleicht könnte man unter Einbeziehung der Nachbarn eine bessere Lösung finden- wir haben uns Tisch und Stühle vor`s Haus gestellt.
Zu sehen gab`s sehr viel, aber um Lucca rum ist für uns doch nicht die so typische, romantische Toscana, aber eine Erweiterung unseres Horizontes schon.
