About this apartment rental

The apartment is located in a pleasant apartment building on the 2nd Accessible to the upper floor with elevator from the garage. There is a large supermarket right in the annex and the tram or bus stop is in front of it. The old town and the main train station are within walking distance. When you enter the apartment you come into the hallway with a cloakroom and luggage storage space. From here you can reach the renovated bathroom with shower and the spacious well-equipped living room with a large cable TV, free wifi, dining table for 6 people and a large comfortable sofa bed. From there you can reach the large balcony with lounge furniture and couch, as well as the bedroom with a new box spring bed (1.80m by 2.00m), large wardrobe and chest of drawers. The kitchen also joins the living room and is equipped with everything you need and more. In it there is a ceramic hob with oven, a washing machine and dishwasher, a large fridge and freezer, of course also a microwave, coffee maker, kettle. Basic spices, tea and coffee are a matter of course. Towels and bed linen are also included in the apartment and in the rental price. If required, an underground parking space can be rented at an additional cost. The apartment is ideal as a holiday home for tourists or for patients and their relatives, or for business travelers and assembly workers.

This place is great - it has plenty of room to unpack your stuff and move around in comfortably, with a kitchen and washing machine, underground parking, a balcony to hang out on (probably most for smokers), good water pressure in the shower - we loved it!!! I walked to the Old Bridge in 30 minutes - you can get there quicker by bus but I didn't bother. Joaquin was great - he contacted us ahead of time and arranged a meeting where he handed over the keys and explained everything. Definitely recommended!!!

We loved staying in this apartment. It was very close to the train station so minimal hauling of luggage. There was a grocery store right in front as well as a tram station with easy access to the Old Town area. The outside of the building is old and run down, but inside this apartment is beautiful and immaculate. The property manager was able to accommodate our early check in and gave us great advice as to where to get some good food and coffee nearby. Don't be deceived by the front. Right around the corner is a beautiful area with restaurants and inside the apartment was perfect.

Getting into this flat is a bit depressing as the corridors are positively Kafka-esque. However, the host Joachim Radeck makes up for everything by being very cheerful and extremely helpful and the flat itself is fine with all mod cons. It's easy to get public transport to the old town and we enjoyed two days in Heidelberg particularly the walk along the Philosopher's Way.

We recently stayed for six nights in this rental. It has a number of positive points - it is in a great location near the train station, a grocery right outside the front gate as well as tram and bus lines. It takes only 5 minutes to get to the old town by tram or 15 minutes walking. The balcony is very large with a lovely view of the hills. The check-in process was very nice and we were able to arrive a bit early. The apartment felt safe and was quiet. There is some street noise, but not too bad. On the downside, the apartment needs a bit of work. There was old, shriveling up fruit in the fridge, open/old items in the pantry, dirty and broken dishes in the cupboard, the coffee pot was falling apart, one of the burners on the stove does not work, a shade fell off the roll when closing it, and the list goes on. It would not take a lot of time or money to make this a five-star apartment. I was a bit disappointed and hope that the owner takes this feedback to make some improvements.

A very convenient location and a very helpful host

This apartment is a five-minute walk from the main Heidelberg train station, right above a supermarket, and right across from a tram stop. Since we were using it as home base to explore the area, the location was a good one for us. It's not a picturesque area--the very nice balcony overlooks a fairly busy road--but you can get to the old city and the scenic part of town with a thirty-minute/1.5 km walk, or catch the tram. The apartment itself has a decent sized bedroom and a large living room with a sofa bed--it was plenty large and comfortable enough for my husband, myself, and our teenaged daughter. The kitchen and bathroom could use some updating--some of the stove elements didn't work and the bathroom is a bit dingy--but the place was clean. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which is important when you're visiting an unfamiliar area.

It's an easy walk from the train station. Joaquin was helpful in showing us the apartment and answering any questions we had. The place had everything we needed, and our son (22 months) enjoyed the space. We would stay here again.

The apartment was charming. Centrally located. Easy access to train station. Trams/buses right across the street. Grocery store located under building. The property manager was very nice and accommodating. Two complaints: It is located on a busy street so you have some street noise. With windows closed it is not so bad though. The bathroom tiles were not clean.

Wir waren sehr erfreut, das wir unsere Koffer gleich bei Anreise vor dem zugesagten Bezugstermin im Flur der Wohnung abstellen durften und von der Reinigungskraft die Schlüssel erhielten. Beim Bezug der Wohnung am Abend schlug unsere Freude in Entäuschung um. Hier unsere Mängelliste: - Das frisch sanierte Bad war nicht sauber. - Die WC Bürste und deren Haltzerung waren stark verschmutzt. (Ekelfaktor hoch) - Die Öffnungen des Lüfters in der Wand war so stark mit Staub zugesetzt, das nicht mehr gelütet werden konnte - Im Bad war ein moderiger Geruch - Die neue Tür war aufgequollen und schloss nicht mehr richtig - Kosmetikprodukte der Vormieter wurden nicht entsorgt Küche: - Schmutziges Geschirr, Besteck und Gläser - Lebensmittelreste der Vormieter wurden nicht entsorgt - fehlendes Backblech im Backofen - Schmutz in den Schubladen - Fehlende Fußleiste - Kein Licht im Kühlschrank, Eisfacht total vereist - Werbung mit vorhandenem Teesortiment, aber keine Teekanne vorhanden - Verdreckte Kaffeemaschine und Kanne - Wasserkocher stark verkalkt Schlafzimmer: - defekter Griff an der Komode - Schutz und Weingummi hinter der Kommode - Beleuchtung einer Nachttischlampe defekt Wohnzimmer: - Wand am Esstisch mit Flecken überseht - Ein Doppelzug Rollo defet - Keine Verdunklungsmöglichkeit an der Balkontür - Schmutz hinter dem Schlafsofa - Schlafsofa nicht für 2 erwachsene Personen geeignet Balkon: - Mit einem Wort zusammengefasst "total Verdreckt" - vertrocknete Planzen in den Balkonkästen Falls Sie jetzt meinen, dass wie pingelig sind, senden wir Ihnen gerne unsere Fotos als Beweis zu. Eine Nachbesserung, in der Zeit in der wir vor Ort waren, hätte keinen Sinn gemacht, da hier nur eine intensive Grundreinigung und eine Beseitigung der baulichen Mängel Sinn gemacht hätte! Besonders befremdlich finden wir dei Tatsache, das die Wohnung bei Ihnen für 4 Personen angeboten wird, es aber nur 3 vollwertige Schlafplätze gibt. Wie wir im Nachhinein festgestellt haben, bieten andere Portale die Wohnung auch nur für 3 Personen an! Insgesammt ein sehr enttäuschendes Ergebnis, das sich durch Fotos belegen und nicht schönreden lässt.

Die Ferienwohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Das Schlafsofa ist auch ohne ausklappen groß genug für eine Person. Das Bad ist klein, aber renoviert. Eine höher angebrachte Halterung für den normalen Duschkopf wäre schön. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war problemlos, Fragen wurden umgehend beantwortet. Die Lage an der Hauptstraße ist nicht so optimal, besonders, wenn man die Fenster auflassen muss wegen der Hitze. Aber irgendwann ebbt auch der Verkehr mal ab. :-)

Die Wohnung liegt ca.10 Gehminuten von Bismarkplatz entfernt. Verwalter sehr nett, hat alles erklärt zwecks Parkgarage und Tips für Ausflüge gegeben .Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht.Der Balkon liegt aber zur Hauptstrasse raus.Bei geschlossenem Fenster nicht störend.Das neu renovierte Bad ist sehr schön,leider gibt es Probleme mit der Warmwasserversorgung bei der Dusche.Schwacher Wasserstrahl und Wechsel zwischen warm und kalt.

Eine Wohnung, die bei Übernahme nicht annähernd sauber war. Auf dem Balkon, dem Wohnzimmer, der Küche, im Bad befanden sich Schmutz und dicker Staub. Die kleinen Kissen fleckig im Wohnzimmer. Auf dem Balkon große vertrocknete Pflanze, Dreck auf dem Boden und fleckige Kissen. die Küchenfliesen strotzten vor Kalk. Die Duschhalterung ist für kleine Kinder geeignet. Aus dem Ablauf stank es. Die Nachbesserungen erfolgten eher dürftig. Die durchgehende Matratze gab einem das Gefühl eines Wasserbettes. Das war nicht toll. Schrankgriff defekt. Die Mikrowelle war noch dreckig, ebenso der Wasserkocher. Warmwasser in der Küchenspüle? Wir waren nur eine Woche da und wollten auch noch Anderes machen, außer auf Warmwasser warten. Hinweis: Im Juli 2017 gab es im Hausflur eine Warnung vor Legionellen, m.d.B. nicht zu duschen! Ob die Warnung aufgehoben wurde, war nicht erkennbar. Lediglich ein winziges Schildchen in der Dusche wies auf einen Filter hin!

Wir haben diese Wohnung für eine Kurzurlaub in Heidelberg gebucht. Die Wohnung entsprach genau der Beschreibung und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Zentral gelegen und eine Haltestelle für Bus und S-Bahn direkt vor der Tür vorhanden. Einkaufsmöglichkeit quasi 3 Minuten entfernt. Kann man nur empfehlen.

Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gut eingerichtet. Ihr könnte jedoch eine Überholung gut tun. Es gibt einen schönen Balkon auf dem man mit einem Glas Wein den Tag ausklingen lassen kann. Direkt vor der Haustür liegt eine Haltestelle für Bus und Straßenbahn. Man kommt damit bequem in die Altstadt. Die Tiefgarage ist optimal und im Kaufladen kann man gut einkaufen.

Das Haus ist von außen keine Schönheit aber davon sollte man sich nicht täuschen lassen innen ist die Wohnung super eingerichtet, hat alles was man braucht (außer einen Korekziehen ;P) und bietet auch ausreichend Platz und auch an der sauberkeit gibts nichts zu meckern. Dazu kommt die Perfekte Lage keine viertelstunde an den Zentralen Bismarktplatz, direkt am Hauptbahnhof und das Infrastruktur Highlight, mit dem Fahrstuhl in die Tiefgarage ein paar schritte laufen und mit dem Fahrstuhl wieder hoch in den Kaufland ;) Wir hatten eine schönes und sonniges Wochenende, vorallem auf den Balkon!

We had a very good weekend at Heidelberg. The apartment was exactly as in 'Homeaway' and everything worked well during our stay there. Besides that, we were very nicely wellcomed by Joachim, even arriving late at night. He also gave us a city map and very useful informations.
