Super convenient but away from the crowds

Very close to tram stop, but also a nice walk to the old town. This walkup (three flights) was super convenient. Parking can be a challenge, but we found a place for our car and did not move it the entire stay because a nice walk or quick tram ride got us to where ever we wanted to be. The property manager was quick to respond to any inquiry and was very nice. We enjoy a quieter place for our stays, and this area was wonderful, but there are many notices in the apartment to be quiet, both on the wonderful terrace or in the hallways especially, as there is an overly sensitive neighbor. We did not mind and tried to be courteous. But if someone is a big party or entertainment person, or is loud in general, steer clear of this place out of courtesy to the owner and the neighbors and stay in the more touristy old town. The kitchen is well stocked and we ate at home several nights as a wonderful Edeka is not far and it had a lot of prepared foods to take away. It was quite warm during our visit (immediately after the historic heat wave) and the owner provided some fans for us to use to circulate air , which was a god send, but as with many places in central and Northern Europe, there was no AC. While it cooled off late at night, it was quite warm during the day and we found it was well worth it to shut the front shutters when we left for the day. Even though some air circulation was lost, the front of the building could get quite warm in the late afternoon and it made the evenings much more comfortable if we kept out the hot late afternoon sun. Heidelberg is beautiful and we met many English speakers in our travelers and the visit was wonderful, but found in several instances older residents were a bit chilly to visitors. I am not sure if it is locals being tired of tourists (understandable) or something else, but Heidelberg should not be missed in any case.

Great property close to city center

My sisters and I recently stayed at this apartment and really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is close to the city center and the train station (both about 10 minutes by foot or you can take the tram which stops about 1/2 a block away). The apartment was clean and well maintained, it has internet access and basic amenities. Joachim was very helpful and met us on arrival. The neighborhood is quiet and has all your basic stores nearby. The only thing to note is you do have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to the unit, there is no elevator. It's a great place to stay while you enjoy Heidelberg!

Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben, im dritten Stock, gut ausgestattet, nur ein paar Kleinigkeiten haben gefehlt (z.B. Wasserkocher). Ruhiges Viertel mit guter Verkehrsanbindung. Das Parken ist möglich, aber nicht immer auf der Straße möglich. Der Gastgeber war hilfsbereit und kommunikativ. Die Bewohner sind besonders aufmerksam gegenüber den Vögeln, sie baten uns, beim Schließen des Tores vorsichtig zu sein. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Good location and well equipped

We stayed at this house for a few weeks and the apartment had all we needed as far as day-to-day activities such as cooking and entertainment. The neighborhood is pretty calm, with a tram stop a few steps out the door, but we mostly walked to and from the city center as it's close enough. The only downsides were the lack of an elevator, and the living room couch was very stiff. Mr. Radeck was welcoming and everything went smoothly.

Die Wohnung liegt zentral und doch sehr ruhig. (Im Heidelberger Westen, Straßenbahnhaltestelle in ca. 200 m, Bahnhof ca. 900m) Der Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit, gibt viele gute, praktische Tipps und Hinweise. Die Schlüsselübergabe war zuverlässig und problemlos. Wir haben 14 Tage einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Heidelberg verbracht und kommen gerne wieder.

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, Bettwäsche und Handtücher waren vorhanden, die Betten schon frisch bezogen. Kaution wurde keine erhoben. Wir hatten für vier Übernachtungen gemietet, kamen erst Abends in Heidelberg an. Die Übergabe des Schlüssels lief völlig problemlos, der Vermieter war sehr nett. Die Dusche funktionierte prima, die neuen Betten sind top bequem. Wir haben wirklich sehr gut geschlafen. Trotz der vielen Parteien im Hause, war es sehr ruhig in der Wohnung, von draussen hörte man keinen Straßenlärm. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden wieder hier übernachten.

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut und ruhig gelegen. Die Straßenbahnen zum Bahnhof und in die Stadt fahren gleich um die Ecke ab – aber zu Fuß ist beides auch nicht weit. Die Wohnung ist für vier Personen klein, aber ausreichend, wenn man nicht vor hat, den Tag im Haus zu verbringen. Der kleine Balkon ist schön für das Frühstück. Der Vermieter hat uns nett empfangen und alles gezeigt. Er kennt das Viertel gut und hilft mit Tipps weiter.

Waren eine Woche im schönen Heidelberg. Sind sehr freundlich betreut worden (Gepäck wurde hochgetragen ! :-)) ), mit Zwischenanfrage, ob alles O.K. ist, bessere Leselampe wurde auf Nachfrage sofort besorgt, sehr nett! Wohnung mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht, "Lümmelsofa" im Wohnzimmer war super! Wohnung wirkte, als wäre man bei Freunden untergekommen, sauber. Verkehrsanbindung optimal! Haben den Aufenthalt in Heidelberg sehr genossen!

Wir haben in den Pfingstferien einige erholsame Tage in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Für zwei Personen ist sie gerade richtig groß und gut ausgestattet. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Lage der Wohnung war für uns ideal, nicht inmitten des Altstadttrubels, sondern in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet mit einer Straßenbahnhaltestelle direkt um die Ecke, um fix zum Hauptbahnhof oder zum Bismarck-Platz zu fahren (wer lieber gehen möchte, auch das ist problemlos zu schaffen). Kleiner Tipp für Eis-Liebhaber: Auf der Hauptstraße links gelegen kurz vor dem "Haus zum Ritter" ist eine super leckere kleine Eisdiele (Amorino), die Bio-Sorbeteis in Form von Rosenblüten ausgibt:-) Heidelberg ist wirklich eine sehr schöne Stadt mit einer tollen Landschaft und interessanter Geschichte und von dieser Fewo aus war alles gut zu erkunden. Viel Spaß!!

Wir hatten zwei Nächte die Wohnung gebucht mit zwei kleineren Kindern. Der Kontakt bei Schlüsselübergabe war sehr nett und auch die Lage der Wohnung ist gut. Aber Achtung Parkplätze gibt es keine - nur mit einer großen Entfernung und auch die sind nicht wirklich legal. Nur leider war die Wohnung sehr schmutzig bei Ankunft. Überall Haare, Staub, klebrig, mit Klebeband fixierter duschhalter, Schimmel im Bad,... Auch die Schlafcouch war absolut nicht zum schlafen gemacht, durch die harte "Matratze" die eher an einen Fußboden erinnert. Diese ganzen Kriterien haben uns dazu veranlasst bereits nach einer Nacht abzureisen da wir so uns nicht wohl fühlen konnten und uns so nicht noch eine weitere Nacht vorstellen konnten. Sehr schade aber wir hoffen mit dieser Bewertung wird daran gearbeitet das es für künftige Besucher ein schöner Urlaub wird.
