The apartment is in a great location in Avignon, in the centre and close to shops and restaurant, but next to a quiet street. It was equipped with everything we needed. Thomas kindly provided a place for our bikes to be kept securely for a couple of days as the apartment itself is up a spiral staircase.

The location is great, walking distance to everything. And the unit is quite quiet... we couldn't hear any noise from outside.
The unit occupies second and third floors of a 3 story building. Kitchen, living room, toilet and shower are on the second floor and the comfortable bed is on the third floor (attic) and has a skylight.
The house was fully equipped and very clean.
The owner was very friendly and responsive.
I'm not sure if other buildings in that area have the same architecture or not, but the circular stairway from the front door of the building to the door of our unit (second floor) and the bed on third floor (attic) is very narrow. Even with just a bag pack and carry on, we had a hard-time not scraping the wall to move our luggage up... and it requires a bit of acrobatics (at least for us two people) to squeeze through, and we're slim. Luckily, we left the unit in the morning for sightseeing and came back in the evening... so didn't have to climb the stairs that often. I think it might be a bit hard for people with large suitcases, small children, physically challenged, or those who go in and out several times a day to climb up and down the stairs. If it weren't for this one issue, I would have scored this unit a 9.

Loved how centrally located this accomodation was. Super clean and great communication with hosts making getting the keys an easy transition
The steps in France are always a challenge with luggage but it adds to the charm. There was nothing I didn’t like

Perfect location for this quality innovative property. Hosts were wonderfully helpful. Ingenious split level design with everything one needs. The free projected Netflix was an unexpected delight. Highly recommended.
