Great central location

The apartment is in a great location in Avignon, in the centre and close to shops and restaurant, but next to a quiet street. It was equipped with everything we needed. Thomas kindly provided a place for our bikes to be kept securely for a couple of days as the apartment itself is up a spiral staircase.

Great location, walking distance from everything

The location is great, walking distance to everything. And the unit is quite quiet... we couldn't hear any noise from outside. The unit occupies second and third floors of a 3 story building. Kitchen, living room, toilet and shower are on the second floor and the comfortable bed is on the third floor (attic) and has a skylight. The house was fully equipped and very clean. The owner was very friendly and responsive.

I'm not sure if other buildings in that area have the same architecture or not, but the circular stairway from the front door of the building to the door of our unit (second floor) and the bed on third floor (attic) is very narrow. Even with just a bag pack and carry on, we had a hard-time not scraping the wall to move our luggage up... and it requires a bit of acrobatics (at least for us two people) to squeeze through, and we're slim. Luckily, we left the unit in the morning for sightseeing and came back in the evening... so didn't have to climb the stairs that often. I think it might be a bit hard for people with large suitcases, small children, physically challenged, or those who go in and out several times a day to climb up and down the stairs. If it weren't for this one issue, I would have scored this unit a 9.

Appartement very smartly renovated/ newly constructed making efficient use of the existing structure (however we didn’t use half of the available space); everything was made with love and craftsmanship. We hope next guests will respect the quality and take proper care of the facility. Host was very friendly and welcoming; bouquet of fresh Calla lilies; quality/price ratio super. Good linens/towels; coffee/tea/chocolates available

Great apartment in the old town of Avignon.

The apartment was great. It is in the old walled city in Avignon so we were able to walk everywhere. It took us about 15 minutes to walk to the bus and train station. The apartment was very clean . There was tea , coffee etc at the apartment. Supermarket just around the corner. They had made great use of a small space.

Everything was great. As they state in the description of the apartment it has stairs. Not suitable for mobility impaired or children.

Excellent

I give it a 10+ ! It's an apartment with a soul. One can see how much effort was put in it with every little detail you can imagine. My boyfriend and I stayed for one night in the loft and we absolutely loved it. Very cosy, clean and central. Only a 15-minute walk from the train station. The communication with Thomas was very fast and smooth and he provided us with some information on what to see and where to eat. Overall, a fantastic experience.

The studio was perfect. In the old town close to everything. Quiet. Incredibly clean. Thomas was amazing. He was so helpful. We had lots of questions and he helped with them all. He even helped us with a puncture we had on our bike.

Wonderful

Thomas is a very friendly host and offers plenty of information to arrive without stress. The apartment is spacious, well heated (we came in the winter) and well equipped for the kitchen, the bed was very comfortable, the shower was good. We also loved the spiral staircase situation, it feels like living in a tower and gives an undeniable charm to the place (however, you do have to be aware of the climbing up/down between the bedroom and the living-room). The location is central in Avignon, we could reach the main attractions and restaurants area in less than a 5min walk. We truly loved our stay and will come again to explore more of the city.

Again, not the right place if you have mobility issues. Otherwise, a unique and wonderful stay.

I really enjoyed the overall style of this studio. At a first glance looks like any other small flat around the town, but it's in the details, the decor that makes it look really french and cosy. Certainly it's not the biggest and best what you can rent, but it has all you need for a pleasant stay for solo or couple travellers, including things like tee, coffee and some spices available should you need them. Plus I just have to underline all the attention given by Thomas, who made absolutely everything possible to make this stay as smooth and worry-free as possible. Thanks for that once again!

Ok, given all the oohs and aahs, I have to mention two downsides: - the spiral staircase, which is so damn narrow that getting up/down was a journey in and of itself (especially with a luggage); - the only double window overlooks a narrow side street, so it's a bit gloomy inside, even during sunny afternoon. Maybe you should also think of replacing the courtain by the shower with some folded door or something like that, should serve better to stop water from splashing too much on the floor - but that's more of a subjective impression.

Thomas made the stay very easy and met us at the door. Our French is not great and the communication was excellent The surroundings are beautiful and in the centre of Avignon. The studio was perfect for my daughter and I and we really enjoyed our stay. I particularly liked the stone decoration and if we ever return to Avignon we will no doubt be in contact again

The host is very kind and available to explain anything about the city and giving you very good advices. The position is right into the city of Avignon, I think it is difficult to find a more central place to stay there!

The studio is very small, the bed is uncomfortable as there are no really wooden slats but only some metal bars and the mattress is very thin. Bed sheets were very old and worn out, pillows very small, my advice is to change bed equipment and everything will be perfect.
