About this villa rental
The luxurious villa (400qm) is located in an exclusive, quiet and safe neighbourhood. The entire property is 1800qm big.
The view is amazing. You can see a wonderful sundowner above the indian ocean and the Helderberge.
The villa was built in an mediterranean design with lots of big windows allowing the sun to brighten your day. (AC and heating are installed!)
The furniture is modern and of high quality.
The fully equipped offers everything you need. We also have a high chair for kids.
In the evening you can enjoy a nice outside BBB at the wind protected terrasse with a wonderful view.
We have a double garage. One space is blocked with our own care which can also be rented for 30€ per day. Furthermore there is enough room for your own rental care and storage eg golf bags.
The house has an integrated alarm system (inside and outside) with security service. The area is very safe! Many permanent residents live there!
The garden is very pretty and is maintained on a regular basis. We have a heated pool, which is also maintained on a regular basis.
All bedrooms have a ensuite bathroom and AC.
Furthermore there is a floor heating.
Foods & Drinks: There is nothing you have to live without. Apart from top restaurants in the area (eg the best in South Africa Grand Roche approx. 30 minutes drive), you can easily provide for yourself. There is a nice grocery store, the SPAR-Markt in Somerset West, which has everything you can imagine. The quality of the food is amazing. Everything still tastes how it’s supposed to taste back in the days when for example tomatoes still had a rich and sweet flavor, remember?
I can also give you advice on different kinds of restaurants & bars & wineries in the area.
Shopping: The shopping center in cape town “Waterfront” or “Canal Walk” are a must see, even if you’re not into shopping.

wir sind in familie gereist und haben das haus und diese wunderschöne gegend sehr genossen. die villa ist wirklich sehr großräumig und hat drei sehr schöne schlafzimmer. alles ist gut ausgestattet und funktionell. der blick bei tag und nacht atemberaumend, tolle location zwischen kapstadt, den walbuchten und dem eingang in die weinberge. der vermieter hat uns sehr geholfen, uns schnell zurecht zu finden. einziger kritikpunkt: der pool wird über eine (unzureichende) solaranlage betrieben und war im märz wirklich kalt.
also insgesamt können wir das haus uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. die betten waren ein traum. und es gibt unendlich viele möglichkeiten, gut essen zu gehen
wir werden auf jeden fall wieder kommen

This Villa is absolutley fantastic - is in a very secure safe area. It is very centrally based for sight seeing around the Cape, it is also very sheltered from wind - garden is a sun trap. It has the most fabulous views over mountains and the ocean. You would need a car as area is very hilly - road networks are very good and easy to navigate. Somerset West is by far one of the best areas that we visited. The Villa is extremely clean, is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay, the owner has gone to alot of effort. Cape Town is approx 1/2 hour away, would recommend a visit to Cape Of Good Hope, Hermanus (you will definately see whales during season they are abundant!), V & A Waterfront, Table Mountain and the vineyards (we visited Spier Vineyard which is fantastic) there is so much to see and do - would definately recommend this Villa.
