A really special place

The room was stunning with excellent views The staff are really helpful We lunched at the vineyard and that too was remarkably good- we missed that it is closed for dinner on Sundays and Mondays - we would have loved to have gone again

Beautifully presented outside areas, gardens and pool. Great bathroom and bedroom furnishings. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet , peaceful location.

Perfect stay in the winelands

Very nicely made lodge next to the Eikendal vineyards with scenic views on the surrounding mountains. 7min foot walk from the wine tasting. Room was very comfortable, quit and clean. The staff delivered outstanding service. Breakfast was also excellent with a mix of buffet and freshly made egg dishes. Highly recommended!

Lovely venue for visiting the Stellenbosch area

The breakfast was great, especially the delicious fruit. The lodge is charming and has everything one needs. The manager, Elna, is delightful and very accommodating. The gardens are quite simply beautiful.

Beautiful stay amongst the vineyards and mountains!

Everything was top class. The grounds are magnificent and the room was cosy, comfortable and clean. We had a stunning view of the mountains out of our window. The stuff went above and beyond to make sure every need was met. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding and I really appreciated the gluten free bread and almond milk.

Serenity ,peaceful and beauty all in one package.

I was attending a function locally so Eikenhof was ideally suited . The breakfasts were great . Loved the opportunity to taste the wines at the tasting. The restaurant staff were very attentive and the food great . The gardens are well care for and beautiful . Everything indicated peace and harmony . Just what I needed.

Wonderful

It was wonderful, Fiona had been so welcoming, showed me everything. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. I loved lying by the pool! Later on I enjoyed a cream cheese wine pairing and a red wine tasting! After that my bed was calling very loudly and I had a very good night sleep in an extraordinary comfy bed. Next morning I woke up with a stunning view of the mountains. Breakfast was perfect, everything there and nicely arranged, always attended to by Fiona.It was just wonderful. I’m definitely coming back!

Lovely stay, and we would return.

It's perfectly situated for a few days in the winelands. The estate is secure, and there is easy access to the restaurant and winery. Although the room is very compact, it did have everything we needed. Staff were friendly.

Slightly bigger room would be great. If there are noisy neighbors you can hear them!

A wonderful getaway

I loved the beautiful gardens surrounding the rooms. The views were stunning, it was quiet and peaceful. A perfect way to relax and unwind. I also enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting, and taking a walk through the vineyards.

Breakfast was lovely- a nice selection to pick. The free evening glass of wine is a cute touch. Staff were friendly.

Bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard. After staying two nights- we are in need of a full day of massages. The outside chairs in the patio are also in need of seating pillows- it's not pleasant to sit on a hard cold chair in winter outside. Also, the honesty bar serves no purpose in reception when it gets closed quiet early. It would have been great if we had access to snacks late evening.
