5 London Mews - with free parking

The property is modern and styled in a home from home kind of way. Very cosy and not over cluttered. The location is fantastic - just a 15 minute walk into the centre. Where you immediately see the entrance to the shambles which is opposite The Golden Fleece pub. There is an Asda supermarket on the walk which was highly convenient. We drove so the free parking space was an absolute must and was the main reason we booked this property - that and the location. The property itself was clean with everything you need (although no shower gel - just soap). The bed was comfy and the shower was nice and hot. Plenty of toilet rolls, clean towels and there was a fab kitchen pack with everything you need to wash and dry anything you use. There is a dishwasher but we had no reason to use.

There wasn’t anything not to like. For us it was perfect and met our needs.

The apartment was very clean with good decor throughout and was a 12/15 minute walk into York city centre along a well lit main road. Parking in the city is extremely expensive so the parking space was very welcome.

The shower room was very compact and we’re not large people and found it a little too tight in the shower itself. The mastic around the outside of the shower cubicle was dreadful and very unprofessional which was surprising as the rest of the flat was well maintained.

The location was perfect for our needs and is close to York city centre. The cafe next door Rustique is well worth a visit they have some lovely pastries and sandwiches

A few cobwebs above the bed could have been cleaned but otherwise we were very happy.

Spotless and everything has been thought about and well stocked. We loved it
