We enjoyed this Bach for our 3rd year in a row. Thanks for connecting the outdoor shower, was used for all feet cleaning easily when back from the beach! Will be booking again for next summer :)

We had another great stay at this holiday home. Our second year staying here and we love it. The renovations of the interior are fantastic and the location is perfect. A wonderful holiday home for 2 families. We are going to book again for next summer - Thank you!

Everything we needed and more more then enough room

Loved our stay. Everything you need is there.

The bach was just the right place for our family reunion, some from overseas. It was wonderfully close to the beach and the house is well designed for a relaxing holiday. It does however, need some maintenance, as all houses do. But communication with the host on this was very positive and I can commend them on their bach. I hope to stay there again.

A very spacious property for two families to stay at, great that we could take a small dog with us. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay and this bach had plenty of room and everything we needed. The lounge was lovely and big, with lots of seating.

This property is the dirtiest and least maintained we have ever stayed in across New Zealand. This meant that upon arrival on Friday my husband and I spent most of the day cleaning rather than having a holiday with our little girl, before our guests arrived on the Saturday morning:( The kitchen counters were sticky, and dust covered, the toaster has never been cleaned out, the kettle had pieces of stuff coming off its inside when boiled, the microwave was not cleaned and we had to wash all of the plates, cups, glasses and utensils before use. The pans in the kitchen are rusted and the rust came off onto the eggs we tried to make on Sunday morning. The floors had balls of dust and hair everywhere in the living area, dining room and all the bedrooms. The matrasses had bugs and human hairs of different colors on it (we only saw this on the day we left as we were instructed to clean all the lined and the whole house before we left), a courtesy we were definitely not afforded. The linen in the twin single room was dusty:( The toilet had urine and black curly hairs on it upon arrival. Neither the baths nor the sinks were cleaned. The BBQ was used but has not been cleaned in a very long time, and the grills could not be leaned well enough to actually use so we had to organise for our own grills to be brought with friends from Auckland. We discussed the fact that the place was so dirty with the owner face-to-face on Friday, who responded by saying that "well this is Kiwi-bach rules, you get the place the way it's left by the previous people". This was surprising as we were the first people to go into this house for summer, meaning the owners did not clean it/have it cleaned since it was closed up in winter. This was a terrible experience for 3 families with small children. Supplying a clean place is the MOST IMPORTANT thing we needed but was not granted. This after I was sent instructions a week prior to arrival of how the house needed to be cleaned, linen washed and dried and replaced (this was not on the house rules when I booked it). The only positive is the location and the size of the house.

1. Communication with host is good. 2. Location and neighborhood is great. 3. We did not use the oven as it was mouldy and dirty. 4. Pots and pans was not cleaned properly. ( suggest replacing some.of them). 5. Overall , it was a relaxing place to stay.

Beautiful property met all of our expectations, plenty of room close to the beach so we walked to watch the sunrise, close to all amenities. I would recommend this house . We were a family of 10 and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space.

Enjoyed our time in beautiful Ruakaka. Very handy location and great property. Friends brought dogs so it was great leaving them when out or a meal and knowing they were secure. Thanks Helen.

Situated in the perfect location with really easy and quick access to the beach. Had all the comforts of a home away from home. Easily accomodated two families. Enjoyed our stay here.

Great location - only 2 minute walk to a lovely surf beach. The layout of the house worked well for us. A big lounge with seating for everyone. There were clear instructions for cleaning up.

Was an absolutely beautiful weekend away. The property was great for my toddlers and puppy to enjoy, we had our brother and sister in law come stay aswell, was nice and relaxing. Beds were great for the kids and king bed was so comfortable. Early checkin if we wanted and got to check out whenever we wanted. Great place and we will be back.

We had our family stay in this property from overseas. They loved how close it was to the beach and hanging out in the big outdoor deck. Property owners were so good to deal with. All round a great experience

We spent a week at this property just across the road from the beach. It was spacious and very comfortable. and had everything we could need for the week. Fortunately the weather was perfect but there things to do if it rained. Being fully fenced gave us peace of mind for the safety of our grandchildren and our small dog. The property owners were flexible and very easy to deal with. We had a wonderful holiday and hope to go back again.
