About this apartment rental
Experience the romantic countryside in a restored stone house in the heart of the Maremma of Volterra between the sea and the Etruscan city of Alabaster. Ideal for relaxing and peaceful holidays in Tuscany (also suitable for couples and families) with culture, great panoramic views, swimming pool, good food of Mamma Claudia, sport activities such as walking and cycling. In the Villa Rustica there are 4 rooms. The room Lavanda and Pervinca are located on the ground floor and each one has its own private entrance. Lavanda room is furnished with double bed, bathroom (WC / shower) and a well equipped kitchen corner; the family room Pervinca is furnished with a double bed and a Sofà bed for 2 people, a bathroom (WC / shower) and with a well equipped kitchen corner. At first floor are located 2 adjacent rooms (Mirto and Ciclamino) with shared private entrance. The Mirto room is furnishedwith a Sofà bed for 2 people (plus an extra Sofà bed for 1 on demand), with bathroom (WC / shower) and a well equipped kitchen corner; the room Mirto is connected through a corridor with the room Ciclamino which is furnished with canopy double bed and a bathroom (WC-shower).
For married couples, single families or small groups it is possible to rent just one, two or three rooms. An generous breakfast with our organic agricultural products is possible on demand (price not included in the rent rate). Once per week mom Claudia cooks the typical Tuscan food for the guests on demand (price not included in the rent rate) . In the back house there is a 50 square meters Veranda with Wi-Fi internet access, TV, DVD player and CD player available.
On the first floor live in a small apartment the owners Claudia and Enrico who can prepare for you a generous breakfast on demand (usually it is requested on the first day) or a typical tuscan dinner (possible once per week) and who take care of the garden/park and of cleaning the pool. If you will arrive later than expected , for example, you can turn to them

We had a 10/10 week in beautiful Toscana. We loved the stay. Claudia is a perfect host and and a lovely person. Thank you! The outdoor kitchen with indoor facilities were perfect since we did all our dishes there the whole week. Pool area is beautiful.

We staid at Poggio ai Lupi with our family to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. Allthough the weather wasn't the weather you generally expect in Toscany, we had the time of our lives. The accommodation and the surrounding are phenomenal just like the hospitality of our host Claudia. We enjoyed the house, the visits to the beautiful cities in the area, cycling/mountainbiking and catching the 9 donkeys who escaped and bring them back to their meadow. It was a holiday we are never going to forget. Thank you Claudia and family!!!

We stayed for one week, sharing the facility with another family of friends. We had the domain to ourselves. The house and the garden are beautiful, perfectly tended. Its extremely peaceful (the house is way down a little path that goes through a tuscan wood. No neighbours at all)The view on the tuscan hills from the wintergarden is gorgeous, From the bedrooms and the main living space, the view in on the garden only, but its still lovely.Claudia and Enrico are charming. They live on the property so you can ask them questions if you need but you will still feel like youre on your own. Its very private (if you rent the whole place, which we did. I dont think we would have liked to share with strangers though). They have cats and dogs but you barely see them.The pool was the perfect size for kids to swim and adults to refresh, always clean, with lovely flower surroundings. The tiny and charming town of Chianni is the place to go to get fresh bread, gelatis, delicious Italian meats and cheeses, oil, fruits etc.I highly recommend this wonderful home for your next family vacation.(wifi only works in wintergarden, which is very nice if you actually want to vacation and not watch your phone!)
