Lovely, well situated apartment with helpful host and a great breakfast

I loved my stay at this apartment. I'd stayed before with the previous owners, and had loved it then, but it's even better now. The breakfast was wonderful, very generous, fresh and nicely presented. The apartment is perfect for me as a solo traveller. It's right in the centre of Leiden on a cobbled street, so no traffic other than the occasional taxi. It was nice to eat outside one evening. There are several supermarkets within easy walking distance. Everything works well, and I'd recommend it without reservation.

Charming apartment in historic old town!

We absolutely loved our stay in this charming property in a beautiful and peaceful part of the city! Although it was tucked away from the crowds, it was perfectly located with many restaurants and bars as well as main sights a short walk away. We loved the view of the church and the cobble stone streets just outside the accommodation. Quiet and comfortable studio apartment. The owners were very kind and welcoming and served up a delicious, ample breakfast with lovely products!

Perhaps some extra products in the bathroom such as shampoo and conditioner would have been nice to have had provided

Fantastic host. Very knowledgeable and happy to share her knowledge of local area. Beautiful room with extra facilities like kitchenette. Close to lots of great museums and a short walk to Leiden central, where we could head into Amsterdam. Wonderful breakfast!

Great location with a nice little outdoor area. Enjoyed the kitchen facilities as sick of eating out. Anna was very accommodating with our early departure/arrival as well. Will stay again if the opportunity arises.

Charming apartment for a couple.

The studio apartment is on the ground floor with direct access to the street. It is very well equipped and decorated with owners’ personal objects. It’s within walking distance to sites of interest and restaurants. Anna was very helpful and knowledgeable of Leiden culture and history. The breakfast surpassed our expectations, especially the fruit platter.

Charming accommodation in a perfect location.

The location was perfect in a cobbled street very close to Pieterskerk in the atmospheric old town. The accommodation was characterful and comfortable with great attention to detail. Breakfast brought to us by Chris, standing in for Annebe, was excellent, varying day by day.

The area immediately in front of the house looked a bit neglected. Being directly on the street meant people walking past especially late at night were very audible.

Perfect peaceful location close to everything you need.

Incredible hospitality from Anna throughout our stay. We could not get over how perfect the location was - close to everything but still so quiet and peaceful. The bed was so comfortable and the little kitchenette area was very handy. It was the extra touches that made it such a pleasant stay like the greeting notes and chocolates for Easter, the food recommendations and the lovely breakfasts every morning.

Very kind owners who are happy to give some recommendations for sightseeing, dinner, drinks, shopping. Nice healthy breakfast. The room has everything you need: comfy bed, some chairs, dining table, fully equipped kitchen, refreshing drinks in the fridge, umbrella, some sweets, blankets to snuggle into when having a cup of tea in the evening on the bench in front of the house. There is even a yogamat in the cabinet :-) Great location in a cute neighbourhood of Leiden.

This place is in a 500-year old building right in the historic heart of Leiden. The owners have created a luxury B&B with touches of Southeast Asian luxury for weary pilgrims. Great breakfast served in the room. I loved it !

Only suggestion: include black tea with little milk capsules in the assortment in the room for English pilgrims and their strange habits.

Superb.

A superb self contained apartment in the heart of historic Leiden. The house is hundreds of years old but the interior is modern, very comfortable and well equipped. Anna is a welcoming host with an attention for the little details that make the stay convivial and comfortable. The breakfast is copious and varied. A highly recommended location.

Hele vriendelijke ontvangst en fijn dat we al wat eerder konden inchecken. De ligging is perfect, midden in het centrum. Leuke en persoonlijk ingerichte kamer met keukentje dus van alle gemakken voorzien.

De locatie in het centrum was fantastisch, en toch heel stil ‘s nachts. Alles op loopafstand. Ontbijt was heerlijk en super flexibel qua tijd. Veel privacy, prima faciliteiten, WiFi gratis, uitstekend allemaal!

Alles beviel goed. De locatie, gezellige kamer om te verblijven. Handig ingericht met kamerscherme tussen zit en slaapgedeelte. Fijn om aan een eettafel te kunnen zitten. Alles was aanwezig in de keuken. Kortom er is eigenlijk overal aan gedacht.

Wat een geweldige plek (toegankelijkheid beoordeling)

Alles, dit was geweldig. Zelf zit ik in een rolstoel (40 cm × 40 cm), maar het was prima te doen als je nog wat loopfunctie hebt. Het verblijf was geweldig. De B&B ligt midden in het hart van Leiden, dus als je de skills voor kinderkopjes rijden niet hebt, wees gewaarschuwd. Maar mocht een drempel van circa stoeprandhoogte je niet tegenhouden, zou ik hier zeker verblijven. Het ontbijt was elke ochtend net anders en echt vers. Je krijgt een klein keukentje er ook nog bij. Het is oprecht net een mini-appartement. Voor mij was het bijzonderste moment toen de eigenaresse bij vertrek vroeg wat ze nog kon doen om de B&B toegankelijker te maken. Ik voelde me zo gezien. Bedankt voor deze geweldige 2 dagen.
