Very cozy room

This room is a dream. The room is very spacious has a wonderful view and it just felt very cozy not wanting to leave and explore. There was a tv a heater and a fan depending on your needs. the location is amazing is 5 minutes from the train and 10 minutes walking from the center. Really nice town to explore.

The restroom is a little snug. No lift so and the stairs are a little steep. Cannot leave luggage for long time since the operation hours of the actual hotel is limited. If you arrive outside the 10am-1pm they will leave instructions for you to get the room keys.

Great place but beware of the stairs.

They let us check in earlier when we are so tired and had heavy bags. Just for that relief I will be forever thankful.

Going up and down the very narrow and kinda dangerous stairs with heavy suitcases. We are young and able to do it, even if I had to manage my steps not to fall down. I loved the place, but this is a death trap for older people.

Nice place in an authentic "narrow house" in the center of everything; funky, quaint, and old.

Great location in the heart of the historic area. Bed was very comfy! Nice TV, WiFi, and coffee setup.

Not especially clean. Not climate controlled, but outside temps were fine in September. I noticed it starting to heat up quickly once the weather got warm and sunny. A little noisy, too.

Great location, comfortable bed.

The bathroom was tiny to a degree making it barely usable. A bigger table and two full-size chairs would increase the comfort. Steep and narrow staircase.

Gorgeous accommodation

Beautiful accommodation close to train station and main shopping and attractions. Host allowed us to keep baggage while we visited Keukenhof Gardens and use toilet facilities, recharge phones. So helpful. Only downside was noisy pub music across the road but it was Saturday night.

Cosy single room for a short stay

Close to Leiden Centraal and in the middle of the city, excellent location. The single room was really simple, but the bed was very comfortable, all you need for a short stay.

For people who aren't used to city noise, the single room may keep you awake at night and wake you up really early.

It was not a hotel, just an attic room and an impersonal experience. No common use areas. Room not serviced.

Poor check in procedure. No hotel services. Roof light with no curtain had to be propped open with a coat hanger in the heat. In the wet water poured through. No wardrobe/hanging rail. No spoons, mugs, milk for the tea/coffee. Banging our heads on low ceiling. Cut our hands on the chipped glass. No soap. Toilet/basin area so small as to be virtually unusable. No handrail at the top part of each steep winding flight of stairs which is dangerous. The price was ridiculously high for such a room.

it was above a bar and therefore extremely loud. The ventilation was very poor which made sleeping difficult.

Disappointing

Accomodation is without any lift assist also narrow spiral staircase hence it is incovenience especially you have mid size luggage to carry up. Key collection from staff is availabe within specific time else have to collect from letterbox. There is no aircon unit in the room and lucky there is fan available upon request.
