Motel Blue - Minimalist Boutique Hotel

The staff provides timely and clear instructions on how to enter the premises. The motel is located close to a U-Bahn stop. Big plus: the lady who takes care of breakfast is particularly sweet and attentive. This motel is indeed minimalist, not so much boutique.

For as far as I know, it is not indicated that guests have to the reception ask for the key to use the elevator. That was knowledge I would have liked to have had when I, a mother with a small daughter and two suitcases, had to go to the second floor after the reception had closed. Had I known the elevator only operates when staff are present, I would have been able to prepare accordingly. The room and bathroom are clearly being cleaned, but could use a more thorough cleaning. Other than that, the motel is really not at all bad. But PLEASE let guests know about the elevator. You are hosting travellers. They may be tired after a long trip.

The place is exactly what it says on the cover - Minimalist hotel - with no surprises. It had everything I needed - clean sheets, comfortable (though small) bed, hot water with good pressure, wifi and breakfast. I did have two good surprises - there's a small balcony to eat breakfast in the open air & they leave hot water/coffee/tea available at night too.

Teeny tiny issue - the pillow was much too soft for my taste, but they gave me another as soon as I asked, so it worked out fine.

For someone who is visiting and who will only need place to sleep this is perfect, and what you have also, good wifi and great breakfast! Hotel is 2 minutes (walking) from U station, and that is perfect for connecting!
