Here you have a super equipped fisherman's house located in the picturesque harbor village of Sørvågen on the island of Moskenes in Lofoten. According to their long, good fishing traditions, Lofoten is surrounded by vast, first-class fishing areas. At this fishing cottage you can fish directly from the terrace - no matter if it is high or low tide - and enjoy the great sea view at the same time. The small settlement of Sørvågen has its own restaurant and grocery stores; a boat trip on the Vestfjord is recommended. If you are interested in art, you can visit the galleries and museums in the area. This is also the place for an active vacation; the majestic Lofoten mountains are home to a fantastic hiking area and there are several marked hiking trails that lead past fishing lakes. Northern Norway offers unique and unforgettable natural phenomena all year round: In summer you can relax on the terrace of this cottage, while the midnight sun never sinks; and in winter you may enthusiastically watch the aurora borealis, which playfully illuminates the black firmament of the polar night. This cottage is also a good starting point for day trips to famous places like Svolvær, Leknes, Hennignsvær and Nusfjord. It is also worth visiting the strange bird island of Røst, which lies out on the open Atlantic Ocean (ferry connection).
