The location is good as it’s near the beach. Cabin was pretty basic and decent.

There was a strong bleach smell when we entered the property. We acknowledged that the smell is proof that the property has been cleaned throughly but would be good if the room is well ventilated prior to guests’ arrival. The heater is not sufficient to heat up the cabin.

Beautiful location

The property is great. The twin rooms with shared bath are very small. Very clean, staff is amazing and welcoming! Highly recommend the morning yoga on the beach! Cafe is also excellent!

The rooms are very small and beds narrow. We had an incident where our belongings were taken from our cabin. The reception was very unresponsive made it our problem. The manager didn’t respond at all. Cleaning was also not great. We had better value for money at our other accomodations

Stay at the beach

We stayed in a room in shared hut. There were shared showers and wc, and kitchen with place to sit. Everything was clean and the kitchen well equipped. Near by was the reception with restaurant where you can buy coffee and food. The beach nearby was very nice

Camping spot, not an hostel!

Blame on me, but this place is more for camping and so if you are looking for a place to sleep midway your Lofoten I'd suggest to look elsewhere, simply because you will be in a container in front of a beach - this means a very small room, a small shared bathroom with the bare essentials, and you being at the mercy of the weather and its sounds. Nothing bad with any of that, just less necessary to experience if you are NOT having activities nearby. Still, it looked like a very nice place if you want to have fun rather than visiting on a semi-tight schedule, and to be fair I arrived very late so I could experience the common areas anyway so there's not much else I can say here. I think it deserves good marks but it was a miss for me personally and what I was looking for!

See above - the bathroom especially was a bit of a letdown, but given it's a camping, you should expect that!

Lovely and fun place

An isolated place close to Ramberg, but having an incredible view on the beach and surrounding mountains. The place is granted with all you could need for cooking. A nice sauna with access to the beach is very close and accessible for free if you rent some surfing material.

Shower dump was a little bit filled with sand, requiring time to vacuum.

Not what we thought we would get

Ok location if your waiting to surf

There where no pictures of the rooms or the shared facilities when I made the booking in the spring. We stayed in June. Just the view and explanation. Those pictures came later. I would not make the booking if I was aware of what we would be getting. There where no double bed or fireplace. Might be for you, but not for us.

Stayed in the family lodge. Very confortable with a great view. Staff was very helpful. Possible to rent kayak, or having surf lessons.

Everything was good. The location is just marvellous. The buildings amazing, clean and the facilities very convenient.

We were 5 people and 2 of us had to sleep in one bed that wasn't really big, but wouldn't say it was that a big deal.

Wonderful cabin stay by the beach!

Wonderful place by the beach! We stayed in the cabin, so had great facilities. Well-equipped kitchen, with terrace with the sunset view. Just right on the beach, with good parking place. Good shower and pretty clean and nice place to stay.

For tents seemed to be a bit too crowded, but it depends on the bookings.

Beautiful area, bad “beach house”

the location of the camp was good, but everything else was wrong.

They say beach house when you book. Not the case, it is a big almost dormitory far from the beach with paperthin walls, poorly built where walls and floors creak like crazy and sleep was almost impossible to have.
