Very nice stay, great location

Location of the house is perfect, close to the ferry pier, close to many hikes and also to bus station. Small shop is about one km far. Great location for people who don´t travel by car. Hosts were very ice and helpful, Ciro even offer us ride to one of the hikes that was little bit further away and not well accesible by bus - just for the price of gas. He also gave us many tips. House is beautiful, very clean and has everything you need, spacious kitchen, comfortable room (we stayed in small twin), beautiful terrace and very nice sorroundings. You have to count with staying in the house with the owners, which was fine for us.

The only thing was that from our room (small twin) it was little far to the bathroom, to the second floor. Which was fine during the day, but nightime visit was little bit uncofortable, as it was far and also dark (and I could not find the switch). Might by that there is usualy bathroom on the first floor as well, but at the time of our visit it was not accesible.

The room felt so cozy and welcoming, perfectly clean, and had everything I needed. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel at home right away and giving great local recommendations. Waking up to such views every morning was magical!

Everything was perfect, I didn’t notice any downsides.

Maison bien située dans l’ouest des Lofoten

La maison est idéalement située pour circuler dans la partie ouest des Lofoten. Proche de l’eau et entourée par la nature, celle-ci permet de faire de belles promenades dans les environs. Le logement est très bien équipé pour se préparer à manger et très propre. Plusieurs commerces sont situés à proximité. Nous y sommes restés quatre nuits et nous avons apprécié sa localisation.

Néanmoins, notre chambre était attenante à la cuisine et donc était plutôt bruyante. La maison disposait de nombreuses règles (avec des écriteaux partout) parfois contraignantes, notamment sur les heures d’utilisation des parties communes. Par ailleurs, l’accueil des propriétaires n’a pas été très chaleureux. A notre arrivée, ceux-ci nous ont dit que nous ne marchions pas du bon côté de la maison, sans nous saluer. Nous avons aussi reçu plusieurs remarques pendant le séjour sur le respect des règles (que nous respections pourtant). Malgré le confort et la situation de la maison, cela n’a pas contribué à nous mettre très à l’aise.
