Thunderbird One-Bedroom Cabin 6

We came to Monroe to attend a fiber festival at the Evergreen Fairgrounds which was an acceptable 15-20 minute drive for us. We needed separate sleeping accommodations for two, and this one bedroom cabin with another bunk-room that was private was the perfect setup. It was much nicer than having two separate motel rooms. The kitchen with full size appliances, dishes and pans was very adequate to cook our meals. The bathroom was roomy and we liked the small bathtub instead of just a shower. We did not use the outdoor facilities e.g. BBQ grill and swimming pools. The RVs that were camping out around us were quiet. The drive to the resort is beautiful.

We stayed in cabin C20, and across the "street" was a bright spotlight on a low post that shinned all night through the windows in the bedroom. I felt this was an unnecessary light and would have appreciated some black out curtains. The place is very infused with the outdoor lights throughout the night. With that, we did appreciate all the windows with plenty of light during the day. The bunk beds need a good cleaning. We removed one mattress pad that was dirty from the bottom bunk and swept up a lot of sand, crumbs, and a cookie that was under the mattress. It was pretty wet and cold while we were there and could have used a few more blankets for the beds. The stove needs a good cleaning too.

Very comfortable and quiet cabin in an excellent location.

It could have provided a bit more equipment for the miniature golf and shuffleboard games

The mattress was very comfortable. Laundry was available onsite. Campers were fairly quiet in the evening.

Smaller than advertised; did not stay in cabin 6 as reserved. Cabin 20 was small for 4 adults. Sink faucet handle was broken and toilet ran constantly without intervention.

Close to Evergreen Fair Grounds, cabin worked out great.

NO INTERNET. Sorry, but this was the dealbreaker. Advertised as having internet, but found that not to be the case.
