Great location and nicely furnished.

Could use better pillows and the shower was moldy.

A resturant in front with loud music on every single night was not a good thing. Apartment building is old and people above you can make keep noise and loud floor creaking sound which can cause problems for light sleepers.

Spacious and quite clean, the bed was comfortable and it had AC.

Quite noisy; you hear almost all other apartments as well as everything coming from the road. It’s an old house which is part of the charm.

Super easy to collect the keys - easy check in and check out. Great location and solid value for money for what you get. The pictures make it look quite a bit nicer than it is but worked for us for the time we stayed.

The lock box didn’t lock anymore after the initial opening so we couldn’t leave the keys in the box throughout the day but always had to take them. The apartment was overall nice but it smelled very musty, the couch had a super big stain, same for the actual bedding (not the sheets, they were clean). We didn’t mind that much but it was VERY loud. There is restaurant right outside and since we visited in June, the entirety of Alfama was one big party (which is lovely until you want to sleep and there’s live music until 3am outside your door).
