The bedrooms and bathrooms were excellent, the gym was a welcome bonus and the pool was amazing

Very welcoming people's, really nice private villa with an amazing pool.

Pool was great, layout as pictured. Unique villa design (designed by owner). Hosts very friendly and helpful if looking for recommendations on local things to do or places to eat.

No one to meet us at check in at the time mutually agreed ahead of time, and as we had no cellular left us with no communication or amenities for hours. Had to find our own way into the property. Upstairs bed mattress so thin it is un-sleepable-on. Only good value for a villa in Bali if sleeping 4 people, but can’t sleep on upper bed. Hot water system was turned off, presumably to lower bills. Aircon only partially works, and upstairs room doesn’t get cool enough to sleep. Some of these things have been left in reviews from years ago on Airbnb but haven’t seemed to be addressed… Hosts were helpful but bothersome - we wanted a quiet, private stay to ourselves (would’ve been happy with self check in and out) but we had multiple messages (they insisted on obtaining message contact at check in) and unannounced visits daily which was far too much for us. Also entering the property to measure things during the stay which would be more appropriate for between guests. Very insistent on showing their other properties / trying to extend stay as well. Other guests at other properties had no check in information / anyone to meet them either so rang the doorbell to the villa disturbing the peace as well. Could be helpful to have an information handbook instead with all the local information / wifi / other properties to reduce daily contact and allow some more privacy for guests. Also meeting guests on arrival if a time mutually agreed or providing details for self check in is crucial, particularly for overseas travellers.
