Beautiful property, only 20 villas so lovely and quiet. Staff are exceptional. Gardners, Room cleaners, wait staff, reception staff - all make an effort to say hi with a smile and learn tour preferences. Excellent location away from the hordes of tourists in other areas of Bali but still only 30-45 mins away if you want to experience Kuta, Seminyak etc for a day. Loved the private pool - Tip: go for one of the normal pool bungalows if you’re wanting privacy, rather than splashing out on one of the beach front ones where the pool and deck areas are in full view of the public path.

General wear and tear but nothing too major, the rooms are serviced twice a day (breakfast and dinner times) so they’re kept very clean. Brighter lighting options in the room would be great (bathroom mirror & bedside lamp area)

The breakfast

If you are a 5-star traveler you may find this resort a bit lackluster in service. The villa is beautiful, staff is pleasant but they lack the details that make chains like the Four Seasons, magical. For example, we went to the beach and there were no attendants. We had to look for one to help us get towels, an umbrella, drinks, etc. They also say no way too much (but with a smile so they get bonus points for that. ). The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable that I woke up with a crick in my neck and back pain. It's not bad if you've never been to other top 5-star resorts.
