It’s so beautiful old Balinese but modern rooms. The gardens are pristine and the cafe is amazing.

Really loved this hotel. Staff was friendly, nice pool and rooms and the food was cheap and lovely.

The location was perfect! I had friends staying 300mtrs away in a private villa, making Puri Uma Ratu extremely convenient to be in close proximity to them. Everything that we needed was within a very short walk away - Restaurants/bars, massage/nail spas, convenience stores/mini marts, money exchange and even a pharmacy. The beach was a 2min walk and popular attractions like Mexicola, Mrs Sippy, Potato Head and La Lucciola were a 10min walk via the beach. Special mention to the following nearby facilities that each provided sensational service and affordable prices for anyone budget conscious: Bali Boozy Kitchen and Bar - only 50mtrs from the front door and have amazing food/breakfast options as well as a cheeky cocktail or two with great atmosphere! Emily Spa - only 60mtrs from the front door, across the road from Bali Boozy and have every massage option you can think of, as well as eyelash extensions, hair, nails and beauty treatments! Sukutara Kitchen and Bar - 700mtrs from the front door and located on the beach so you can enjoy dinner and cocktails with a mesmerizing sunset, in either the restaurant or bean bag lounge set up in the sand! Puri Uma Ratu is exceptional value for money; I will definitely be back to stay...and my friends are also keen to make the switch and stay there too on our next trip!! 🙏😀

Whilst clean and fresh each day, the linen and towels could do with an upgrade. Some appeared quite old and frayed in places. Perhaps also consider supplying face washer and hand towel in bathrooms for added guest comfort.

The rooms are clean and nicely presented, though not very soundproof. I could still hear some traffic at night, even with earplugs in 😅. Some reviews mention a smell from the bathroom, but there’s actually a push-close drain plug. Once I figured that out and kept it closed after showering, I had no issues. The staff are lovely, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The onsite café, The Granary was great with delicious vegan options like the breakfast burrito 🌯. There's also a workspace upstairs. The location is convenient, with easy access to both Canggu and Seminyak, and just a short walk to a quieter beach spot around the corner. The main downside was the bed, which felt quite hard and a bit lumpy. The pillows weren’t very comfortable either. I’ve stayed here before and don’t remember this being a problem, so it may have just been this particular room. The aircon was also noticeably loud and hard to ignore when trying to sleep. Overall, it was okay for a couple of nights, but I probably wouldn't stay again.
