Great value for money a 2 minute walk away from the seaside

Puri Uma has a beautiful external and common space. The swimming pool is luxurious and the Granary Cafè has delicious food and cafe. The position is fantastic and a lot of shops are close by on foot. The staff is so kind and immediately responds to every necessity you may have. Definitely excellent value for money.

Unfortunately the rooms are quite dirty and old. The towels are always dirty and so are the bed sheets. Cleanliness could be improved.

The pool and surroundings gardens are beautiful. The on-site cafe/restaurant was also great. The food & drinks were delicious.

The staff were awesome, location was great, the pool was lovely as well as the rooms! Close to Mmart which we have plenty of business too! super convenient!! The cafe within the home stay was also great!

Not a big problem given we were busy and not at the hotel much, but the wifi was not great and didn’t work in one of the rooms we had booked

Great value for money.

Very good value for money. Positioned off a busy road but quiet and peaceful. 5 minute walk to the beach with several good restaurants overlooking the ocean. Massages, convenience stores and a 24hr pharmacy a stones throw away. The cafe onsite is a real bonus with good food and cheery staff. We enjoyed our time immensely ☺️

Love the staff, location and space! I've stayed there 4 times and will stay there again for sure!

The staff are super nice, it's clean, its perfectly located and there is so much around that you can walk to including a minimart, laundromat, cafes, restaurants, bars, a massage place and the beach which is a quick 5 minute walk away. You can also access most of the popular beach clubs from the beach access point.

It's hard to get in touch with the property while you're offsite which isn't ideal if you need to talk to staff and are not on location.

Excellent stay

Excellent location, next to the seaside and good restaurants as well. Clean room and amazing patio/garden with swimming pool. We just stayed one night but will recommend it even for more

A sweet hotel, love the immaculate gardens. It has enough cafes and some new local beach cafes nearby who do great breakky deals. There is also a super lovely cafe at the hotel. Staff excellent. Clean!!! Just found our new fave.

Puri uma ratu

The hotel grounds are well maintained and in an immaculate condition. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Cafe Granary is situated on the property and is super delicious. Every thing you need is right out front of the hotel eg; M mart, laundry, pharmacy and many more. Located on busy road but super convenient.

Family room is tucked away in the corner on the second floor, you don't get a big open view like the rest of the rooms. Bathrooms could do with a deep scrub/clean.

It’s a very good place if mosquito control is improved.

The staff were very nice and always greeted us with a smile.

At night, the noise from mosquitoes was disturbing, so I couldn’t sleep well. I was also bitten many times, and my face became swollen.

Amazing place

The staff were absolutely amazing Place very clean and homy Swimming pool cleaned everyday and guests are allowed to swim till late. The beach is 5 minutes walking distance.and offers restaurants and places to eat. The onsite coffee shop was the highlight offering amazing food and drinks. Thank you

Perfect place to reset, relax and unwind.

I absolutely loved my stay at Puri Uma Ratu. It was so pretty, quiet and relaxing. The room was modern, clean, spacious and I had the most amazing view of the pool. The Gardens are exceptional. The staff were so friendly and were more than happy to assist with any request. The cafe served beautiful coffee and food. Great location! Beach around the corner. It's now one of my favs! Thank you so much, see you next time! x

Relaxing and easy to travel to and from (via car) both Canggu and central Seminyak.

The property is located a close walk to a few gems (Bali Boozy and Strawberry Fields). The pool was also lovely.

We knew to expect the weird smell from the shower post-use but still a downside nonetheless.

Okay

The rooms are clean and nicely presented, though not very soundproof. I could still hear some traffic at night, even with earplugs in 😅. Some reviews mention a smell from the bathroom, but there’s actually a push-close drain plug. Once I figured that out and kept it closed after showering, I had no issues. The staff are lovely, and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The onsite café, The Granary was great with delicious vegan options like the breakfast burrito 🌯. There's also a workspace upstairs. The location is convenient, with easy access to both Canggu and Seminyak, and just a short walk to a quieter beach spot around the corner. The main downside was the bed, which felt quite hard and a bit lumpy. The pillows weren’t very comfortable either. I’ve stayed here before and don’t remember this being a problem, so it may have just been this particular room. The aircon was also noticeably loud and hard to ignore when trying to sleep. Overall, it was okay for a couple of nights, but I probably wouldn't stay again.

Garden lovers delight.

LOVE the gardens, love getting some work done in the cafe. Nice large room with a couch, bonus! 5 Minute walk to new litlte local cafes right on the beach, without the crowds! Great for sunset drinks, there's about 5 cafes in a row. [Right beside the W Hotel] it seems to be a newish area they have developed. Lovely clean pool and quiet.

Great stay, highly recommended

Very beautiful hotel, spacious modern room. I especially liked the garden with the pool and the green vegetation around. The coffee at the location was also very relaxing atmosphere. Its located close to nice restaurants and beach bars.

The only thing is that the water in the sink at the toilet was going away slowly but not a big issue.

Stunning property, so tranquil, the pool area and gardens are beautiful and well maintained, there is also a fabulous onsite cafe.

Although there was plenty around and a short distance to the beach it was a little far from the parts on Seminyak I enjoy… it’s very close to Canggu.

This horel is a hidden gem, just of the main road so no noise at night and 400 meters from the beach.

Great stay!!

Great location close to Seminyak, Umalas ans Berawa/Changgu. Just few min walk to the beach. Staff is really friendly, they clean the room every day with fresh new towels and new bottles of water. Its super nice that the cafe is there in case you want a coffee or something to eat without leaving the hotel. Pool is nice as well i used it a lot!

Wish I could live here forever!

I absolutely love it here! The cafe is amazing for Brekky and lunch. I’ve eaten here every day and the staff are wonderful. You can also have your food and drink by the pool. The pool is stunning, the gardens are extremely well manicured (friendly gardener trimming the paths with his sheers each morning-bless!). The staff are so accomodating and helpful. The rooms were cleaned daily and the cleaning staff are incredible. Very clean for bali standards! Shower pressure is great. Nice warm shower. My original room had a funny smell and air con wasn’t working well, so they changed me without hesitation to a different room. They immediately fixed the aircon for the next guest. Comfy beds! Great aircon. Such a beautiful complex opposite the best laundry in bali and next to the mini mart with the most adorable workers. A short walk to the beach and lots of good warungs close by. All the locals on the street are friendly and I felt safe travelling solo with my baby. Utama Spice is my favourite Balinese shop where you can get great natural body products, oils and mozzie repellent and there’s a store just up the road. Not too many mozzies but I always kept my door closed at dusk and morning. I have extended my stay twice and I will definitely be staying here again! Great value. Love it!

Good location

The location is excellent, and the staff are incredibly friendly, doing their best with the resources available. However, the hotel itself feels outdated and could be cleaner, with towels that appear worn and grubby. On the plus side, housekeeping provides daily room service with fresh (though still worn) towels and bottled water. Overall, our stay was okay, but we wouldn’t choose to return. The attached café, however, is fantastic, offering delicious food with plenty of options.

Everything. Big room, comfortable big bed, lovely shower, nice well maintained pool with a lovely garden. The bar inside the resort cheaper than expected and with really nice food and coffee! Another plus was the hospitality of the staff We would 100% recommend it. .

Clean but toilets need a lot of work

The property is super clean. The staff are lovely and clearly do their jobs well. The beds are comfortable and sheets were clean. I slept well here.

The toilets are old and need refurbishment. My toilet especially was awful compared to the one in the other adjoining room. It had a lot of hard old green mold on the showerheads and bidet and even the soap dispenser's nozzle. The water came out yellow when first used, and i didn't dare to use to the soap. The air vent was also not working, so the toilet became really hot and stuffy (and stank of the mold) . The bath towels were also very old. The bedside tables are sagging from the weight of the lamps. This should be fixed before someone's foot gets hurt.

Paradise

Beautiful lush garden with an inviting pool and lounge chairs with shades. Clean and comfortable room with view onto the pool. Hanging flowers from the balcony makes it feel like a paradise. Big windows have both sheer and not sheer curtains which is great for privacy. Good wifi, good aircon. 4 pillows per bed which are comfortable and cozy. Lovely cafe in the garden where guests get 15% off breakfast and a free coffee with breakfast. Coworking space upstairs the cafe. Beach is just 4min walk away.

A comfy stay with a friendly and helpful staff made my holiday very convenient

- The room is clean, fresh, spacious, and comfy with a nice balcony. - The hotel is calm and quiet in the daylight. - A small yet nice pool. - Trees around the hotel area make it more scenic. - Friendly and helpful staff. They help us to rent a bike at a reasonable price.

- There is no telephone or a contact number to contact the housekeeping from the room. So if we need anything, we must go to the receptionist directly. - The wall outside the room is chipped and needs to be repainted. - Because the hotel is located near a pub, you can hear music from the pub at night, although it's not too loud.
