Terrific location and very comfortable

This had to be the easiest check in ever. I called the owner when I got to the apartment and she talked me through each step. Took only a minute. Wonderful service. Very spacious with separate sitting area and separate kitchen. Very comfortable beds and in an excellent location.

Disappointing stay

The only good thing about the place is its convenient and well-connected location, close to the city center and everything you might need. It was also great that the host was able to check us in two hours earlier.

The place does not match its photos. It was extremely dark and depressing. There are no doors, which made it really cold, and no main lighting — the only light sources in the room are two bedside lamps and two standing floor lamps. Considering that one of the walls is completely black and almost no daylight comes in because the window is very narrow, the result is a terribly gloomy and dark room. The furniture is extremely old and unwelcoming. There were no disposable slippers, and the floor tiles were freezing cold, so you either walk bare foot and freeze, or walk all over the place in shoes, which is disgusting. The shower holder was broken. There wasn't any additional blankets, and as i said earlier- really cold. For 3 out of our 5 days there, there was awful, loud construction noise — I’m not even sure what it was, but we were constantly woken up by horrible banging. The Wi-Fi was terrible and kept cutting out. To top it all off, on the last day we were told we owed an additional fee that the host had never mentioned (I later saw it written on Booking, but in extremely small print and not in the main information section — only in the extra details that you don’t see right away, so I believe the host should inform guests directly). We paid it but never received any document or confirmation for this “fee,” which we’ve never been charged separately for anywhere else before, and we travel a lot. In short — a very disappointing stay, especially for the price. The only good thing was the convenient location. We definitely wouldn’t stay here again.

OK stay soured by host behaviour

Property itself was fine, as in the pictures

Customer service unfortunately a very poor experience. We forgot three pieces of unopened cheese in the fridge, notified as soon as we realised and asked that they be left at the luggage storage just next door. Received a reply almost 3h later saying they had been thrown away. No effort to contact us to ask first if we had forgot them, which would have been the normal thing to do. Then offered to waive the city tax as compensation, but upon hearing that we had already made that payment, lied about refunding it to us this week. Needless to say it’s Friday evening and no refund was made, message ignored. Awful behaviour!

Highly recommended!

An apartment with character, large and spacious especially compared with hotel rooms of similar price. Check-in was easy as I was greeted by one of the hosts. Great location, a few minutes' walk from museums, churches and restaurants; 5 or so minutes from the nearby station of Porta Susa. Bathroom, kitchen and living-bedroom all clean and comfortable.

The apartment was gorgeous - very large, beautifully decorated and in an excellent location for exploring the city. The attention to detail in the apartment was great and it was clear that our hosts love Turin, and want their guests to love it too...which we did! Our hosts were very responsive, giving us recommendations for places to go and even offering to book a restaurant for us (Otium - a rooftop restaurant with great food and amazing views over to the Alps). We followed several of their food and drink recommendations and loved every one of them.

Good location within walking distance of the centre and a bus route too, local shops for groceries. Lovely old apartment and very helpful host. Air conditioning was great as we were there during a heatwave.

Great apartment in the heart if Turin

Very spacious apartment, cool decor, clean, comfortable and great location. The apartment is approximately 20 minute walk into the city depending on which area you are going to. Public transport is also super easy and often. The host was very helpful with check in and sent over some recommendations.

Wonderful home-away-from-home in Turin

The apartment is beautiful, generously sized and very comfortable. You can tell how much effort and love the owners have poured into the design and renovations. The bed was super comfortable as well. The location was absolutely perfect as well and convenient to trains and busses. Elisa and Silvio were easily reached via WhatsApp and were happy to provide some tips about what to do in and around Turin as well. We would book again in a heart-beat!

Unfortunately there was very loud construction noise the day we arrived and on a few other days during our stay. Luckily we had packed ear plugs but it would have been nice to get a heads-up about this level of noise beforehand. Light sleepers might have some trouble with the noise coming from the staircase (elevator, you can hear people talk) but otherwise the building was quiet and calm. We would have loved some more kitchen utensils (ex a spatula) and a larger cutting board but those are just minor things.

Great stay and vibe, highly recommended

Great vibe of the location, kind host and super available and flexible for my needs, great attention from the staff. The flat has a 70s vibe that keeps the original features unchanged, so it was really pleasant to stay there. The bed was super comfy and the bedroom (in Casa Punt e Mes) huge.

Feel at home in Torino 🇮🇹❤️

Beautifully decorated and comfortable apartment in quiet but centrally located neighborhood less than 10 minutes walking from Porta Susa. Booklet with recommendations and the story behind the names of the apartments. Soundproof windows, comfy bed and nicely stocked kitchen with welcome water 🙂 and, of course, Lavazza coffee. Elisa is VERY responsive and Sara is friendly. I felt reassured that they were attentive throughout my stay.

Very good location. Short walk from Sousa Station. Very clean. Kitchen towels and dishwasher were provided as well as coffee, tea and some basic spices for cooking. Breakfast possibilities nearby. Daily local market on a side street.

The apartment is located on 1st floor. There is a lift, but in doesn't stop on the 1st floor. It might be a bit challenging if you travel with heavy luggage or have walking disability.

Super apartment well placed for Turin, walking out and enjoying all it has to offer. Apartment was very well equipped and extremely clean and beautifully set out and decorated with a very comfortable bed. Great space. Room was quiet…but if you open the windows you get the street noise…you’re in a city so it’s going to be buzzy, this didn’t ruin our stay. Was met by our host to collect keys and everything was very easy. We loved it and would definitely book again.

Great location, good bed and perfect for a short stay.

Great size room with large bed, sofa bed and 2 easy chairs. Very comfortable bed and nice linen. We had everything we needed. We did not use the kitchen but it was well equipped.

It’s a shame the shower cubicle isn’t bigger as there is room. It’s quite a dark apartment as only window overlooks a side street.

The apartment was spacious and well equipped ( including a washing machine). The apartment is on the 1st floor with no elevator, but should not pose a problem for people with suitcases. The location is close to the Porta Susa train and bus stations and within a 15-minute walk to the city center. The hosts are super friendly and always available in need be. Highly recommended. We would stay there again for sure.

Interesting stay in Turin

We arrived by train at Porta Susa and easily found our way to Via Cernaia - about a 10 minute walk. We met owner who handed keys and explained about the apartment block. We were allocated 'Cinzano' apartment. A quiet apartment, despite a market setting up outside almost every day. Hot water was good. Aircon unit was useful. King size bed was comfortable with very good quality sheets. The apartment was clean. Access to Metro - 10 mins. Access to Trams and buses - 10 mins. We bought a 72-hour public transport ticket (Euro10 each) and used all forms of transport getting around. Locally, plenty of mid / inexpensive places for eating. Take-away or restaurant. Easy to walk to many places of interest in central Turin; rather longer to walk down to the River Po area.

Be aware, we booked through Booking.com and were 'allocated' an apartment despite all communication showing photos of a different one. Be aware the kitchen has very limited cooking facility, a 2-ring induction hob and a basic microwave. Plus a kettle, toaster and a 'pod' coffee machine. No dishwasher, no oven and no washing machine and initially no dishcloth, tea towels, chopping board or kitchen utensils. Some small items were provided after asking for them. We were staying for a week and had wanted to cook / make a few meals in the apartment.
