Pra Ae Apartments did not disappoint! Location was great for Long beach!

Nice hotel only 5 mins from the beach and close to Kohub co-working space.

Nice hotel that's super close to the Kohub co-working space. The bed was comfortable and the room was a decent size for a single bed room. It's in walking distance to some nice restaurants, massage places and only 5 minutes from the beach. The owners were very friendly and can also arrange various day-trips or a taxi if needed.

Sometimes the smell in the bathroom isn't great, but that seems to be a general problem on the island. The bedding was a bit old with some tears, but everything was very clean.

Perfect place to stay in Long Beach, Ko Lanta - So close to everything yet still nice and quiet!

So many great things here at Pra Ae Apartments: - Very large and comfortable room (and bed) with lots of amenities (I loved having a fridge, kettle, and toaster!) - Air conditioning worked perfectly to keep the room nice and cool - Staff were friendly and helpful and I was given plenty of toilet paper and even fresh drinking water daily - Location was ideal as it was close to restaurants, shops, and only about 5 minutes walking to the beach - The tour desk out front set up scooter rentals, tours, and even onward transportation which made everything very accessible and easy

Ok but wouldn't stay again

Big room. Good WiFi. Microwave, toaster and some basic kitchenware available in the room. A/C was not directly opposite the bed. Many restaurants around. 10-15 minutes walk to the beach.

Uncomfortable bed (too soft and low quality). Broken door wing of the wardrobe. Not very good lights in the room.

Wonderful stay and lovely hosts!

Very spacious rooms that are really clean and comfortable. Central location that has good restaurants and shops nearby. Most rooms have a balcony and there is a communal one too which is convenient if staying with a group. The fridges in the room are very big which is great for long stays. It is extremely good value for money and much better value than anywhere else we have stayed on the island over the years. The staff, especially Mai, were so friendly, helpful and kind, always going out of their way to help us! We arranged caving and kayaking tour, transfers, ferries, did laundry and even local tuk tuk collections with her and she gave us great prices and came to pick us up very quickly. No request was too much trouble. We felt like part of their family by the time we left! Thank you Mai and family for such a wonderful stay.

Koh Lanta's main road has sadly become busy and dangerous, but that comes with any accommodation that is convenient and central. No negative comments to report for the apartments themselves!

Perfect and convenient spot for a Ko Lanta stay

I stayed for seven nights in the single room and it was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The room has a fridge, kettle and microwave which come quite in handy if you’re staying for a long period. Staff are super friendly and helpful - they give you privacy, but if you need anything they are always more than happy to help! On the day I was leaving, my transport out of Ko Lanta never showed up at the first pick-up time, so I had to wait another three hours for the second pick-up. Staff were extremely caring and attentive and called the transport company multiple times to make sure they were coming both the first and second times. They also stayed with me until the van showed up to make sure I got on the right one. A tip for others, it’s best to book your onwards travel with the hotel/accomodation you’re staying at as they will be able to help you a lot more if things go wrong. I was pressured to purchase my ticket during the a transfer stop and it ended being quite expensive and unreliable. The place is of course very close to the beach, only a couple minutes. There are many places to eat nearby - I recommend OA restaurant just around the corner, a few minutes down the side street. The lady there is lovely and food prices are much cheaper (and better quality) than a lot of the places on the main road :)

There can be a lot of echo and noise from the hallway - not entirely the accomodations fault as some guests were just super disrespectful, slamming their doors shut (which can really make you jump) and playing loud music in the hallways.

Fit for purpose. Really easy to book an additional night I made an error with the date but they happily sorted it at no extra cost Was a lot cheaper to book tours/excursions through hotel. Even spoke to our transfer agent on our behalf Room was spacious Quiet area with nice restaurants near by and motorcycle rental

Major attractions were a bit further away Staff not always around e.g. checked out around 7:30 but no one to hand key to so had to slide under the door Cats frequent the apartment grounds

Totally perfect

Had an absolutely perfect stay at this apartment. It has everything you need: very clean, great AC, spacious fridge, good WiFi, a desk, and even a plate with cups and cutlery. Could have totally stayed for weeks. Perfect location next door to great places to eat, the beach is 7-10 minutes away at max.

Nice budget place for holidays

Very nice rooms on the main road of Koh Lanta. The rooms are equipped with a kettle,microwave and fridge. The room had a small privet balcony,a privet bathroom and closet. We stayed there three weeks,we had cleaning room service every 2-3 days. Nice people running the place,they have a tour agency below the rooms p.s You can refill your empty bottle of water downstairs for just 1 baht.

Superb

We’ve spent there 1 month and we loved it! Location is perfect and really close to the beach. The room is spacious and light, and balcony is lovely. Bedsheets and towels are changed regularly, cleaning is also provided. There is a microwave, toaster and kettle, but we didn’t really cook because there are very nice restaurants nearby. Also you can rent a scooter, buy some tours or print your documents downstairs because there is a tourist centre.

Everything, the staff doesn’t speak very well in english but they did everything to help us. The price is very affordable and the room was spacious et very clean ! Good smell. Great staff, their whole family is lovely 😊 clean rooms, everything you need! shower is adequate with good temperatures. Comfy bed and working aircon. tops marks all round from me.

Very clean, spacious rooms. Easy check-in and check-out, and room was cleaned every day. Well equipped with toaster, kettle, microwave and toiletries making for a very comfortable stay. Also a lovely bakery directly across the road which is good for breakfasts. Quiet at night but still close to amenities and beach.
