6BR Stunning ultra-luxury Chalet with traditional feel

The property was very spacious and bright. Beautiful views from the terrace. It was very convenient to the bus stop just in front of the building. There was a very nice bar and a supermarket in the building. Angelo was very kind to help us get a taxi after our stay. It also felt very safe. Thank you for your kindness Angelo.

This was a great place to stay as we arrived in Italy. We wanted to visit Cinque Terre and were a large group (8 people). Our flights were delayed and Angelo kept in communication and met us when we arrived at midnight. He made good suggestions on how to navigate the ferry and parking. He then kept in communication with us the entire visit. He was extremely helpful. This apartment is great, the only downfall is the noise at night. However, that is out of Angelo's control. It is a city location and the scooters outside remind you that they are there. The other nice thing about this property is the cafe and store on the first floor. The cafe was good. The store had everything you need from fruit and bakery to a deli. They also had travel necessities in case you left something at home. The deck outside of the apartment has a great view.

Beautiful apartment in the country surrounded by the sounds of nature! View was breathtaking!! Angelo was a wonderful host providing lots of suggestions for things to do and was available to help in a very timely manner (ordered our pizza for delivery first night, arranged taxi, unclogged a toilet, helped with bus/boat questions via text). VERY comfortable beds and pillows!!!

We loved this property so much! Angelo is an excellent host. he & his wife met us on arrival & were readily available for any advice or need! The apartment was very clean, so charming, and the views from the roof were amazing. Train station to Cinque Terre stops is just a few minutes away. A lovely experience!

Our group enjoyed staying just a short way(10 minutes by car or bus) from La Spezia. We had available parking nearby, with bus stop available at the front door of the vrbo. A short 10 minute bus to La Spezia takes you to the ferry! The host was super—very informative, with a lot of knowledge and suggestions for the visit! Molto Bene!!!

The house is clean and well equipped with a lovely view. The owner is very responsive and nice. The bar below and local market were good to have. We enjoyed breakfasts on the porch both mornings. We were traveling without a car and intending to come home from Cinque Terre after bus hours both evenings, looking for a taxi back from La Spezia station. I am told it is not usual, but it was nearly impossible to find taxis (we called, asked a hotel for help and waited at the taxi stand where we were told). We waited for over an hour and there were other travelers in similar situation. This location would be fine for someone with a car or who intends to come back during earlier hours, otherwise I might advise that you stay someplace within walking distance of train station. Only other issue was that it was quite hot while we were there and it was stuffy to have all the doors/windows closed while sleeping. It would have been lovely to have a cross breeze by having them open, but would be very hard to sleep due to significant road noise below.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and spacious. Great patio and view! Angelo very helpful and responding to our needs and gave us great information. There is a really good market below with fresh produce and groceries. We also ate at the pizzaria below apartment. They had great cappuccinos! You can take a bus to train station easily to go to the Cinque Terre villages. I highly recommend.

Our host was super easy to work with and assisted us in the best ways possible. Good location, comfortable beds, the bathrooms were great, nice kitchen and the local businesses were a bonus. The outdoor space provides great views. The advice on the area was the spot on. Thank you for everything and we hope to return. Felt very fortunate to stay in your home.

Just like the photo there is an amazing view from this unit. Our group of seven ladies was busy but we made time to enjoy the deck. There is lots of space for a larger group and Angelo was so accommodating in adding some extra beds for us. Angelo went above and beyond in providing great travel information and with his concern for our lost traveller. The downstairs bar and the local grocery store were very handy and friendly. The bus came regularly ,out front of the building ,to take you downtown and to the train station. A great place to stay away from the bustle of the city.

We wanted to be close enough to Cinque Terre and other places of interest, but there were 11 of us, so accommodation was hard to find, to meet our needs. This was perfect. Fantastic panoramic views of La Spezia. An elevator for the older generation! A mini market next door. Angelo, the host was most helpful before and during our stay, and contactable via whatsapp. We loved catching the bus into La Spezia with the locals. We felt we got to experience true Italian culture

We had a reservation for 11 to stay for our visit to Cinque Terre. The penthouse is maticulously clean with beautiful views from the terrace while dining at night. Cappuccino and fresh croissants are available on the bottom floor in the morning. A mini market is next door for your take away meals and inexpensive water, though the tap is clean and suitable. We went for the sole purpose of seeing Cinque Terre. We caught the early boat and the last one back! Angelo guided us through every step from purchasing our bus tickets for our stay with a discount and getting us back for our train on departure. Angelo and his family greet you with the best olive oil we had ever tasted from their private farm. You have an English speaking friend that will help you should any questions or problems arise. When you go, you feel like you’re leaving family and are a bit sad for the parting. We can’t recommend this accommodation enough. The communication before our arrival and during our stay was unmatched. Angelo went far above and beyond to care for our group, including ordering us the best Italian pizza and getting us wine for our late arrival dinner. The in house laundry, comfortable beds, and elevator for luggage/people, make this place idyllic. The fully stocked kitchen makes any cooking a breeze. We were an all women travel team aging from 11-72. Angelo was truly our knight in shining armor. The number of questions we had were ridiculous, but we never felt like a burden and were always met with details, photos, schedules, and kindness. Don’t stay in one of the 5 villages. Save your euros for shopping in Cinque Terre. Stay a little out of town and enjoy the views from the shuttle boat. Start at the farthest village and work your way back to La Spezia. You’ll be wiped at the end of the day and so happy for the beauty and charm you’ve experienced. If you miss a boat, pay the 4 euros and take the train. You’ll catch the bus back to the house. The driver can notify you if your stop, but we always had a local more than happy to assist us. We always felt safe. Thank you, Angelo for all the ways you took care of us. We all know first hand how wonderful Itialians are. When we return, it will not be as guests, rather as old friends. In the meantime, we will savor the olive oil we got to take and hold all the memories in our hearts. You made Cinque Terre our favorite stop on our 15 day European tour. Grazie!!!

Our group of 7 just came back from spending 3 days at Casa Vacanze. Angelo and his wife could not have been nicer. They picked us up at the nearest train station, gave us input about the area along with maps. It was a great place to stay to visit the Cinque Terre area. We loved getting wine, cheese and other items at the grocery store next to the building. The huge deck that you see in the picture was perfect for entertaining. The bus stop is right downstairs so easy to catch and go to the marina (to get a boat ride to the Cinque Terre),downtown or the central train station. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice location, easy parking, nice balcony view. Better if you have a car, but well located to get to things to do. Angelo is a wealth of information about what to see and do, and respond to us quickly, even when we were just looking for a grocery store. Great recommendations on restuarants! We cooked and ate on the balcony one night; it was very nice. The traffic is a bit loud, but the rest now than made up for it!

Very mixed reviews: * Nice, helpful owners * Clean, large bedrooms, tiny tiny living room (one loveseat is all that fits), small kitchen and large deck with a view of the buildings across the street, and a tiny ordinary view of a city with lights and a speck of ocean *Nice furniture, great updated bathrooms, comfortable beds Cons: * La Spezia has nothing to recommend it. Large rather lower-middle class town, hard to park. I hear it is good access to other places, but why not just stay in a pretty town like Tellaro for example, or Santa Margherita. * 40 minute drive to Carrara (marble quarry) which we found fascinating * boat goes out of La Spezia for Cinque Terre, but this is a very commercialized situation. Good to do once I guess. * Would recommend being sure of this destination before you book it. The condo itself was very nice

Angelo far surpassed our expectations of a host! He was always a phone call away for all of our needs including language questions, directions and points of interest. He made us feel we were part of the neighborhood. We enjoyed our evenings on the terrace, looking out at the lights of La Spezia. The bathrooms were modern and bedrooms very spacious. We loved having coffee and pastries in the morning and drinks at night at the local bar downstairs. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly!

Angelo's apartment in La Spezia was very comfortable for our group of seven. Angelo gave us directions to get to Cinque Terre and it was very easy. The bus and train ride took about 45-60 min. The bus was free and the train only about 4 Euros. We had a delicious dinner near downtown La Spezia. Angelo is a gracious host and we were very happy with the accommodations.

Angelo and his wife were great hosts for us! We had a group of 12 college kids hoping to travel to Cinque Terre for the weekend. Angelo provided us with a lot of information and made our trip as comforting as possible. The home was very clean and the terrace has magnificent views! We spent most of our nights on the terrace enjoying the view of the city. They answered all our questions within minutes and came over to greet us and make sure we got settled in! I would absolutely stay here again!!

We were a group of three couples and were extremely comfortable in Angelo's apartment. The terrace has great views and it's great to take in the beauty of the surrounding area. Angelo was very helpful and provided a lot of useful information. The apartment was easy to locate and the elevator made it easy to get our luggage up to the top floor. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious and the bathrooms were spotless! The showers had good water pressure with an abundance of hot water. Overall it was a great find and the price was unbeatable! We will definitely return to Angelo's when we visit next!

Nice to have a lot of room and the terrace is good. Unfortunately this was NOT in Cinque Terra as I expected. The search engine brought up properties NEAR Cinque Terra and we did not realize this is in La Spezia...not exactly where we thought it was. A bit of a drive away.

We had an excellent stay in this amazing apartment! We loved the marble floors, huge balcony with an incredible view, and comfortable beds. The apartment was so clean and cute! Angelo and his wife were very kind and helpful. It is a 15 minute bus ride into town if you don't have a car. From town, you can take the ferry to all of Cinque Terre, and La Spezia itself is definitely worth exploring.

This is one of the best places to stay because he will take great care of you. The view from the balcony is amazing, and you can't top the price for this much space. I would recommend completely.

This rental is perfect for visiting the Cinque Terra in Italy. The home is very spacious with very comfortable and beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. The penthouse evening top floor views from the large balcony are truly amazing with great furniture and tables for enjoying the views. Our host Angelo and his wife were so very helpful and had great suggestions to help us plan the perfect transportation and tours during our stay. We were treated as friends by Angelo - very unique in all our travel experiences. We were so fortunate to have found this property and highly recommend it. If we ever make it back to this area we will surely stay here again.

Soggiorno piacevolissimo! Ci siamo trovati benissimo. I proprietari dell'appartamento sono stati pazienti e disponibili, molto simpatici e ci hanno dato tantissimi consigli per sfruttare al meglio il poco tempo che avevamo per visitare alcuni dei principali paesi nei dintorni. La posizione della casa è adatta per raggiungere in poco tempo varie mete tra cui La Spezia, Lerici, Portovenere e le 5 terre, la Versilia. Appartamento luminoso e pulito. Sono molto soddisfatta del soggiorno, spero di avere la possibilità di tornare al più presto. Grazie!

We loved our stay with Angelo and Federica! Angelo was very responsive to emails and WhatsApp. He came and picked us up from the train station and took us straight to the apartment which was a huge help for us. The apartment was spacious, four large bedrooms all with queen beds! The bigger of the two bathrooms was modern and very nice. Angelo explained to us a lot of the great things to check out, especially the fish market with takeaway items right by the pier that was AMAZING and very cheap, so much so that we went twice! The balcony had a lovely view and was quite large. We spent our mornings on there eating breakfast and enjoying the fresh air. The tricky part to staying here is that the public transit doesn't run to this area late at night, so we took a cab every night to get back, about 20 euros one way. Other than that, the bus stop is literally right in front of the apartment and takes you anywhere you need to go. I won't stay anywhere else if I return to La Spezia!
