A cosy two night stay very convenient for RHS Harlow Carr and exploring Harrogate.

The cottage was cosy, it was very cold out and we were told to use as much wood as we wanted in the log burner.

There was a cold draught from the kitchen doors.

Beautiful countryside cottage with small garden and patio area to the rear of the property.

Self catering cottage. Good position on the outskirts of Harrogate. Lovely countryside on your doorstep for walks and within easy walking distance to a pub and RHS Harlow Carr.

Peaceful, lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings.

Very spacious cottage which is very clean and comfortable, one of best stays we have had. Lovely people who are very friendly. Beautiful area and lots to do. Will definitely return in the future if we can. Had a fabulous week 😁

Could do with a fan in the bedroom as it gets very hot and maybe a bigger shower head, the pressure in the shower wasn't great. Also maybe a pair of oven gloves as people don't generally bring them on holiday. 👍

Lovely cottage on the edge of Harrogate in a great rural setting...

We stayed at Squeak Cottage for 4 nights whilst attending the Great Yorkshire Show, it was in a perfect location being only a 10 minute drive from the showground and not on the usual congested routes into the show. The cottage was easy to find, had ample parking and Michele greeted us with the keys upon arrival. The cottage is set within a courtyard of small holding, surrounded by fields where you can watch the horses grazing. The pictures don't do the place justice, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived by how spacious it was inside. Michele was lovely, really helpful and happy to chat in passing. Thanks for a great stay!

The only minor gripe we had were the saloon style bathroom doors, this in no way took away from our stay or was an issue but it did make going in and out the bathroom a little clunky/noisy in the morning and meant you tended to squeeze through one half of them.

Squeak Cottage

Home away from home. A lovely little cottage, in a country setting. There were lots of walks around the area, and the view from the cottage was beautiful. Lovely hosts. We could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend.

Kitchen and utensils and crockery were tired. Needs upgrading. Areas of kitchen could have been cleaner including oven. Looks like it hadn't been cleaned since last occupant. Shower was old and needs upgrading. Poor water pressure

Excellent cottage on a lovely Yorkshire farm

Everything was wonderful. Very comfortable home away from home. We could have stayed longer. Friendly hosts, excellent WiFi, and a friendly cat named Rosie who lives outside.

Everything about it was lovely in fact very special the scenery the cosiness of the cottage the decor Fletch and Rosie being relaxed around us how like the tv show Emmerdale resembled it.How safe we felt in the cottage totally at home there all the time

A lovely stay

We really liked the location it was central to a lot of places we visited. The facilities were really good and we had everything we needed. The wood burner came in very handy when the temperature dropped and soon made the cottage very cosy and warm.

Great Country Retreat

Wonderful cottage, wonderful host, no complaints whatsoever. Beautiful countryside retreat yet short drive to Harrogate. Lovely cottage with everything you could want for a relaxing stay away from home. Host was so friendly and welcoming too. Wood burner in living area was a real treat. Bed was really comfortable. All mod cons in kitchen and shower room. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect stay to rest and relax - thoroughly recommend.

Superb country location - so beautiful and relaxing - owner very good and extended hospitality towards us. The distance to pub etc was fine by car but for 2 people in their late 70s a little too far to walk.

Would highly recommend good value for money and a lovely place to stay.

The cottage had a very homely feel and had everything that you would need. It was very close to Harrogate and was over all an enjoyable stay. We will definitely look at staying here again on our next trip to Harrogate. It had good parking right outside the cottage which was ideal with us having a baby. This is something that was very handy to us as we packed more than what the average couple would coming for a weekend so we didn't just want on street parking.

The bedroom was very light on a night so it wasn't as easy to get to sleep. Could possibly do with some different blinds to better block out the light.

Great location, warm and cozy

Cozy, warm, huge wood burner with plenty of wood, comfortable bed, saloon doors to the en-suite, next to lovely walks, few minutes drive from Harrogate centre, quiet, parking right outside, good wifi signal.

kids felt the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable (maybe a mattress topper would help)

Cosy well located cottage

This self-catering cottage was just what we were looking for after an extended period of hotel rooms. Plenty of room, well fitted out with a wood fired heater providing a cosy atmosphere. Close to a couple of good pubs & well within striking distance of the amenities of Harrogate.

The cottage is cosy and tastefully decorated, with lots of lovely little touches . It was spotlessly clean. The hosts were very welcoming. The location is excellent, being close to Harrogate and Nidderdale. There is a lot to see and do. Shopping and eating places are great. There is something for everyone in this area.
