Gwel Enys is one of only 5 properties in Trelissick Court, an attractive building hung with traditional Cornish slate tiles. There are 2 private dedicated parking spaces for each property and its position overlooking St Ives Bay gives stunning sea and harbour views. Set in beautiful and well maintained gardens and lawn, it is ideal for both families and couples, having safe areas for children to play, and sunny spots for adults to relax. This ground floor apartment has been fully refurbished and tastefully decorated to a high standard in fresh coastal colours. There is a bright, open plan lounge with kitchen and dining area, and patio doors leading directly out onto the large terrace, perfect for eating al fresco. The master bedroom has a king size bed and en-suite with large shower, and the second bedroom has twin beds. The family bathroom has a bath with overhead shower. There is free super fast fibre Broadband and smart TV available at the apartment.
If this Apartment is already booked, our family also have another Apartment in the same building, “Atlantic Aspect” Flat 4 is on the First floor (Property No 10182541). For larger family groups who wish to book 2 apartments, both apartments can be booked together (subject to availability)
Both apartments are ideally situated, being in the peaceful and more exclusive "Belyars" area of St Ives, yet still only a short stroll down to the town. The harbour and all the stunning beaches of St Ives are within easy walking distance.

Great place and amazing location! We had the best time at our stay in St. Ives. The spot was an ideal size for our family of 5 - it was great to have 2 bathrooms! The host was thoughtful and considerate - we really appreciated the binder full of instruction and suggestions for our stay and the complimentary coffee/tea/biscuits. The place was very calming and clean and very well thought out and you can’t beat the amazing view! I would live to come here again some day.

This lovely flat is comfortable and very well equipped. The pics do not do it justice! The place has such a lovely atmosphere. The view from the terrace is divine. The pathway down into town is easy and scenic. Or take the bus from/to the stop just a minute up the road. Our visit to Cornwall was a walk down memory lane so being in such a special spot was absolutely perfect! Thank you to the host!

Stayed for a week during May half term....the apartment was great, 5-10 minutes walk from the beach and town (although uphill on the way back, which was fine for us). Very clean, all the facilities we needed. Would recommend for your stay in St Ives. Advantage of two parking spaces!

Spacious, nice to have 2 bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Parking spaces (would use next time as came by train this time) are ideal. Great views from terrace and from lounge. Quiet neighbourhood. Well equipped though some utensils a bit dated. Be prepared for the 125 steps up from the town (good exercise though!)

I stayed in the apartment for a few nights in November with friends, and we had a lovely time. The apartment has a beautiful view of the bay and St. Ives, visible both from the apartment itself and from a nice terrace overlooking the water. It's up a steep hill from the center of town, but it's a short walk (~10 min), and as long as you're okay with some stairs it's easy to get into town and back. The apartment is extremely clean but quite spare, so you'll need to bring all cooking supplies (including super basic stuff like salt). It is also a bit antiseptic inside—a pretty generic rental vibe—so perhaps not an ideal place if you're planning to spend many hours at home, but well suited as a base to explore St Ives and nearby coastal walks and beaches.

Having parking was a real bonus.The sea views from morning till night was probably the best thing for me.

We had a brilliant time staying at the property in St Ives. It was clean, comfortable and well-appointed, ideal for our family of four. The view is amazing, especially when relaxing outside. Plenty of space for parking, and the check-in process was made simple and straightforward. It’s doubtlessly a good workout to get back up from the beach/town, but only a short distance and that’s just St Ives for you. Overall, a great place to stay

Couldn’t take my eyes off the views from the apartment. Had a little trouble on arrival as hadn’t received the key box code and property owner number went straight to voicemail.
Apartment was a little sparse in cooking equipment but everything was clean.
Beds were comfy and water was strong and hot out of the shower (very important).
Great to have parking and bus to and from St Ives town centre easy.

Easy walk down to the village, but wish we took the bus back to the Leisure Center, which is just down the road.
Use of communal clothes washer and dryer was convenient, though the wash cycle seemed a bit long.

This property was well maintained and appeared just as advertised. It was comfortable, spacious and clean. The outdoor space was beautiful. Although there are other units in the property, it felt private. It was a short walk to St. Ives town centre and gave us a work out to climb back to the property after our sight seeing. It was quick to cool down the property as it caught lovely breezes where it is situated. The property manager was very responsive and friendly.

We were a group of 4 adults who stayed here for 5 nights in May. The property was lovely, and had everything that was needed for a comfortable stay. It was well situated with a beautiful view from the terrace looking down over the harbour and surrounding beaches.This also made for a lovely way to end the day by sitting and soaking up the evening sun with a drink and stunning view.
The property is situated directly opposite a bus stop with very frequent buses running into town, meaning we could leave our car at the property and not have to worry about car parking.
Overall, it was a fantastic place to stay, and would definitely go back again and recommend to anyone.

Not a big problem, but only one bed side table and lamp in the main bedroom (limited space, but maybe could squeeze another in) with windows directly onto car park (maybe shutters or nets would make it more private).Very effective heating for a winter stay. Lovely clean apartment. Parking facilities are excellent 2 spaces per apartment, wi-fi excellent reception, a local bus is available if you do not wish to walk into St Ives (approx. walk 10-15 minutes down hill), a little different coming back "uphill", however it is worth it and you do walk those "Cornish Cream Teas off".
We really did enjoy our stay at this apartment and was sad to leave it. Would definately recommend.

We just spent five wonderful days in this spacious, bright and tastefully decorated two bedroom flat with a lovely patio and garden with beautiful views overlooking St. Ives. The kitchen is well equipped, each bedroom had its own bathroom and parking is right behind the unit. There is easy access to the long pedestrian staircases to St. Ives harbour.

A truly lovely property
Gwel Enys was such a delightful place to spend a week. It is clean, extremely comfortable and is able to be both well located and quiet.
Its owner, Juliet, was a pleasure to deal with, responding quickly to all communications, and made the process of staying there very straightforward and easy.
The location affords a stunning view over St Ives, but this does mean that it is quite a hike back up the stairs from the harbour area, and they aren’t well lit at night. There is a longer but less arduous route available of course. It didn’t impact my stay there, but is something to keep in mind.
The beds were very comfortable and the bedding cozy. On rainy nights the excellent TV and Netflix was a welcome diversion, and the stone patio a marvelous place to take a morning coffee and listen to the waves crash below.
I would be delighted to stay here again.

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this property. We’ve chosen it because we have been walking the coastal path and, from this property, it is easy to access the path on foot or by bus.

We spent a little more than a week in St. Ives, and we were fortunate to have gorgeous weather. The flat was very comfortable, and communication with the host was really good: they were cooperative, helpful, and extremely quick to respond. Being at the top of a (huge) hill, there are spectacular views from the front windows and the terrace. The beds are very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. All in all, we had a lovely stay.
There were, though, a few things that weren't ideal. The spectacular views come with a price--more than 100 steps down into town. If you have very small children, joint issues, or are of a certain age, it may be a problem, We walked down--no problem--but took public trans back up, a minor inconvenience. We'd read the reviews but they did not present what we consider an accurate picture of the walk to and from town .
Probably most surprising to us was the lack of privacy. This is a ground floor apartment (there are four or five in the building on three floors). The front of the apartment faces the terrace and the sea, and the back faces the parking lot. When other occupants park and walk around the building to access their flats, they passed very near every one of the windows in our flat. We felt uncomfortable leaving the curtains open. We left only the front curtains open sometimes so that we could have the beautiful view, and there were often people crossing the (shared) terrace in front of the flat to access their accommodation.

Property was quite a bit further from beaches and town, described as “a short walk” the property gave little privacy as all the other residents could look into the property from every angle. Net curtains would help. Furniture not very good quality. Huge kitchen table was silly. Cups were chipped and everyone of them was stained. We bought some new ones to use. Odd selection of glasses with few matching. Towels not great quality. Car parking not clearly marked and caused some arguments with other residents. Poor quality cutlery. Knives not sharp.
Despite the above we enjoyed our stay and all the negatives could be resolved very easily. The property was well layer out and having two bathrooms was a great bonus.
Not really the ideal property for 2 70 odd pensioners with mobility problems.
