The location was very quiet and relaxing
Villa was ok but the linen / sheets and towels left a lot to be desired in touch and smell

Location good, walking 20 min till central Ubud. Enough calm in hotel, but if windows to road side, a little noisy at night.
Breakfast was good, a la carte.
Possible leave your luggage till departure.
6 km from hotel huge Tegalalang rice terrace.

Breakfast was great. Was close by to Ubud town. Pool was great. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Food was great.
Would recommend putting insect netting over food when placed in the balcony. Apart from this all was great.

Breakfast very good
We visited 3 years ago and it was great, this is why we booked again this year.
But, the place needs attention.
Some of the food on the menu was not available, alot of drink options weren't available.
The room safe didn't work.
General cleanliness wasn't good
We had to wait for a very long time to get drinks or food at the bar.
The shuttle service to ubud does not run anymore.

The place is as on the pictures. The villa was amazing from outside and comfy inside. Water pressure good and water was warm after few minutes which is great for Bali. Staff very nice, place safe and quiet. 2km walk from Ubud centre. Kettle, tea and coffee plus water available every day. Great pool.

The staff were very nice, and the rooms were big and comfortable. Breakfast was always served right on time, and we loved having it on our balcony. The pool area was also lovely and relaxing.
Unfortunately, the massage experience was the worst we’ve ever had. The bed was very uncomfortable and gave us headaches, and the therapists were talking and whispering during part of the session. The technique and pressure were completely off. When we mentioned this to the receptionist—just to share feedback—she replied, “Yes, but you still need to pay for it,” even though we never said we wouldn’t.

Is a beautiful resort with pool and rooms are a great size. Good location to central ubud. Rooms are decent.
Was pretty disappointed in the hospitality as both my partner and I got sick from food we had there at dinner. We required a doctor and iv and they weren’t very accommodating even though they knew we could have used extra assistance. Even when I asked for extra water for the room they told me it was a 2 bottle limit per day so we ended up purchasing our own water and did not eat there for the remainder of our stay. Our linen also had ants which I had to ask the staff to replace the linen due to, but wasn’t done. Not sure if the staff couldn’t understand me but I could tell by a mark that was previously on the linen when we arrived, that it was still there. This was the last week of our trip so was super disappointing to end on this note. I believe that if we had had been unwell at our stay previous to this the staff would have gone above and beyond.

This was such a beautiful hotel - the pool area in particular was absolutely stunning. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was fantastic - they give you a menu with about 8 options to choose from. They then bring it to your balcony which feels very luxurious. We also booked a massage which was soooo good! Was a little bit away from the busy centre - not really walking distance as no pavements. I really liked this though. I would recommend!
There was nothing not to like but perhaps a few things just to be aware of:
There are ants everywhere so don’t leave food anywhere.
There is never really anyone at the bar, if you want something you need to go to reception to ask.
It is on quite a main road so we could hear the traffic all night - not really the hotels fault but good to know in advance!

Beautiful old Balinese property with decent sized rooms/balconies and stunning views of gardens/forests.
Attention to detail. No hand towels or bath mat given, old yellow sheets and very tired furniture & unclean fabric furniture coverings. 400,000 extra per night just for an old mattress on the floor for my daughter to sleep on. coffee machine not working and usually nobody at the bar to serve. My biggest issue was the amount of Koi fish crammed into small unclean ponds. Over crowded and dirty.

Nice spacious rooms, nice little restaurant with good food, small but nice pool. Location is quiet, away from the center, when the traffic is good, you’re in town quickly but when the traffic is bad it can take a bit of time still.
Oftentimes there wasn’t anybody at the bar so had to walk to the reception to ask something, it’s a small property though so distances are very short. And a little odd that when you flush the toilet it just exits from a pipe straight down into the valley below the balcony.. Specific to families with toddlers: the structure of the bungalows with a ton of steps and corners is perhaps not great for the very smallest kids (ours was already 3 so for us it was fine). The high chair for kids is much higher than the table which is a little odd but works.

Food is nice. Staff is willing to help to make the most of it.
Accommodation is outdated. The rooms are not clean, towels are very old, dark tainted, and only a few towels are provided, which was changed upon request. Bedding is not a bunkbed, 1 matrass is on the floor which was not very clean. Again upon request this was changed. Location is not ideal with a family. Have stayed in many hotels, but 4* and price quality is very much out of balance.

The staff was nice. Nothing else was nice.
The property needs cleaning and the outside walls had mildew. The room needs to be renovated desperately.

Perfect for a couple of days break for me and my family. Rooms were a comfortable size for four. Unfortunately me and my family got ill during our stay and they were quick to help clean up, change bedding etc.
Option of breakfast on the balcony is a great touch.
The beds were a little hard for our liking. The showers took a while to heat up.

The size and lovely placements of the villa’s. Beautiful pool area, perfect size. The staff were beautiful and so helpful, always with a smile on their faces. Loved my villa, my home away from home.
Nothing.

Breakfast and lunch were excellent. Staff were very good and prompt. Traditional buildings and garden surrounds beautiful
Bed, linen and towels very old. A little musty, as was room smell. Bathroom stinky, sewer smell. Room close to road and noisy. No TV as stated, but supplied when requested, though that meant fridge stopped working, even after checking at time of being installed and being told it was still working. About 20 minute walk to town, as told they no longer run a shuttle….we hired motorbikes!

Ketut's Place Cottages is a beautiful resort in Ubud. we stayed in a pool facing room with an extra bed. They have a very nice complimentary breakfast options they have and they serve it on time. Very friendly staffs.

Great location, just a bit outside the craziness of Ubud. among some nice resorts, nice restaurants and a few rice terraces. Accommodating staff. Decent breakfast. Nice pool. One of the few options with family rooms at that price.
Beds were on the hard side. The sheets did not have the fresh filling when we arrived. The breakfast was good but options were limited so we got tired of it the 3rd day.

Writing this while still at Ketut’s on our last night, and we already don’t want to leave! This place is everything you see online and more. The staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and humble, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.
Our room was cleaned daily to an exceptional standard, the grounds were beautifully maintained, and the pool area was the perfect place to relax. We even had the pleasure of meeting Ketut himself—such a warm and wonderful man. And of course, we can’t forget Cleo, the coolest dog around!
If you’re planning a trip, make sure Ketut’s is part of your accommodation plans. You won’t regret it!

- quiet location
- beautiful views from pool and most of the rooms
- delicious food in the restaurant, quite large selection of breakfast options
- very helpful staff
Ketut (owner) is really nice guy, if you have any questions about anything, he is always happy to help! And not just him, anyone from the staff will :)
- minor thing we overlooked: trips booked via reception cover only the transportation cost, any entrance fees and taxes have to be paid by yourself on top of transport

Exciting hotel in a lush green setting. Really felt we had arrived in beautiful Bali. All personnel was servicable and kind with constant broad smiles.
Hotel was about 2 km from the main stretch of Ubut and the road to the main stretch was very busy and narrow. We needed a taxi every time we had to explore Ubut.

Ketut’s Place Villas Ubud is the most beautiful place I have ever been. Every detail of design started from walls, door of the villa and finish with design of territory was created with soul. You can feel spirit of local culture. Room of the villa is very specious with all necessary amenities. Big terrace of the villa where you can enjoy quiet time in the evening. Location of the villa is very close to all main attractions.
And most important staff of this place is very welcoming, friendly, helpful and always meets and greets with smile and kindness. Also very affordable price for such beautiful place.
My definite recommendation to stay in Ketut’s Place Villas Ubud.
Breakfast was tasty but could have more choice

It is exactly as marketed on this website. The property and the garden are beautifully maintained, surrounded by the beautiful flowers and lush forest. I was on my solo-trip and I’m surprised this hotel not too crowded, so I got to enjoy the whole pool by myself at some point. It feels like a sanctuary to unplug from noise.
It’s not too far from Ubud (10mins driving, 25mins by feet). There are some interesting shops around this villa too :)
The AC is not cold enough for me despite setting it to 16 degrees celcius. But I managed to sleep so it was alright. The Balinese fried rice from breakfast menu was a little too flavourless, should have stuck with the banana pancake all the way 🥲 otherwise, everything else was perfect.

It was very quiet and clean. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very tasty. We also got a lovely breakfast box for a trip which started early one morning.
A mosquito coil for the outside seating area would have been helpful.

Amazing pool, great spa facilities, staff were absolutely lovely and attentive, good breakfast, and really great food for room service etc for a really great price
The bathroom could have been cleaner / needed updating. Felt like it was years of dirt because it was quite old.

We had one of our rooms upgraded for free and all of the villas we stayed at were beautiful. The only downside was that the road to the Villas was under construction, so we had to take the alternative way which took us another 20-30’ to get there. Withou luggage, we could walk about 5’ to grab a taxi to go to the center, which is faster. Otherwise, I enjoyed the place as it is close to other good restaurants and cafes.
