Great location, good sized rooms, great kitchen/diner/lounge. Lovely clean white bedding and towels. Warm and welcoming. Lots of space, we didn't use most of it. Overall a great place to stay. We arrived on a Thursday so were lucky enough to get free parking right outside the property! Great communication with the owner when needed. Was quiet at night even though it's a busy road opposite the harbour. Great pub nearby, fish and chip shop close and only a few minutes walk (flat!) into town and onto the beach

The cleaning could be better, beds and toilets very clean but showers and window frames need attention. Lots of stairs but that is expected in Whitby. Nothing bad to say about the property itself, generally very comfortable overall

Beds weren't great to be honest not sure if it was uneven floors but felt like you had to cling on so you didn't fall out :-)

Great location

When we arrived it wasn’t ready for us still cleaning all bedrooms and bathrooms and waiting for clean bedding.we arrived an hour after the checking time. Shower on the first floor had one temperature very hot , no shower on the second floor just the fitting for it to go on . Top floor had a toilet and sink , the plug in the sink wouldn’t pop up so water in it for our stay . The kitchen cupboards were very disorganised had to look in all to find so many glasses and cups. Needed to put the oven on to keep something warm found the oven tray in the cupboard didn’t use it , it was so dirty and smelly , I refuse to clean it . When I left I put it on the side with a note so it could be sorted for the next person who goes. Bedding and towels were very clean , place could be really nice needs some attention and to be cleaned before check in time .
