Fantastic Fishing village, overall great accommodation

There was everything we needed in the property, including books and games. It was ideally located near the harbour and the local food and drink facilities. There was everything in the kitchen, to produce your own meals, much better than in other properties we have stayed in.

The plug hole in the shower was very dirty and clogged up, meaning the shower was in danger of overflowing. the seating in the lounge area could be a little more comfortable. Perhaps consider a nice 2-seater settee instead of high backed chairs. Whilst a quaint little fishing village, the cottages are down little alleyways. We did find the cottage a challenge to locate, as the "passage" was not signed. I think it would be wise to consider a What3Words location

Good base for short staym

Very quaint. Centrally positoned in the village and near coast. Well equppied kitchen. Good for short stay

Difficult to find on a dark night on alleyway with no signs. Directions were poor. (See photo for help) We would not have found it without the locals. Would have liked a sofa in lounge rather than 2 chairs. Ceiling in bedroom is low so if you are tall its not great. 3 staircases too so you need to be mobile.

Lovely quaint cottage. Bed was excellent. Great sleep! Loved the seaside theme in the rooms. Close to places to eat and shops. Local museum really interesting. We enjoyed sea fishing one of the days. Surrounding area - lots of places to visit.

Small and cozy. Not the place if you want a view of the sea, and the bedroom ceiling is low so be careful. But very comfortable overall and clean, we very pleased. Heats up quickly when you turn on the radiators and stays warm for a long time after you turn them off.

Superb cottage in a beautiful village.

This property was clean and in a great location. It had everything you could need to have a great stay. Staithes was a lovely village and locals were very welcoming. We especially liked the guest book compiled by the owner.It had great suggestions and we were not disappointed at any of the hospitality venues visited or days out.

It did not affect us but be aware there is a very steep hill into the village.
