Lovely apartment in rural location, close to Lucca

Damiano was so very friendly and helpful. Apartment was lovely: bright, airy and clean with a large (sun-trap) courtyard outside. Kitchen was well-equipped. Pool was perfect with a beautiful view. Location is perfect for Lucca for those who like a rural setting while being within driving distance of a town.

Not a fan of walking through a bedroom to get to the only bathroom.

Beautiful location, very nice apartment and a very helpful host. Close to Lucca on a mountain side with an impressive view.

So peaceful and the views from this property are just gorgeous. The pool was great for us as it was so hot. You feel you are in the middle of nowhere but yet only a 10min drive to Lucca. The last bit of the road up is very tight but once you have mastered it, you are ok!! We got a great recommendation from the owner To visit a festival in a near by village Montecarlo- we had a great time. Fantastic value for money

The kitchen could do with a couple extra utensils but that is it.

Great swimming pool, very quiet if you don't take the crickets into account. Wonderful views, the house has a lot of charm, it looks really authentic, very spacious as well.

The road that led to the house was really narrow, don't take a big car. The house itself is really basic, but has a lot of charm. A fan is available, but you might need a second one.

Superb

Even though the apartment was not in immaculate condition, our relaxed and helpful host Damiano could accomodatingly and immediately fix any of the very minor problems we had. Together with the picturesque ambiance of the place, its close distance to the sea and popular sights in the area and the provisioning of all necessary facility aspects for a very little price, I highly recommend spending your holidays at "Il Silenzio".

Good, although the comfort can use a little upgrade

The location is wonderfull, away from the hectic of the city and yet only a 10 minute drive from the city center of Lucca. Swimming pool was clean and was very appreciated by the kids.

Very special environment, a memorable experience

The place is an old mansion in the mountains partially renovated. Quite a unique environment. The pool is reasonably good and you will need it anyhow in the heat. The host Damiano is really helpful and responsive. Lucca is about 15 mins drive away. Night is so silent and sky is clear - all shooting stars are for you to see in the August period.

Be aware that the road that leads to the place is 2m wide only at one point, so do not take your biggest car for this travel. :) The apartment was a bit hot and there was no way to cool it down - I expected something different from such a stone building with thick walls. There are 4 apartments, silence depends on your neighbors of course.

Very special and quiet place. recommended for families.

Very cozy and comfortable apartment located in a beautiful green spot. Nature is all around and there is nice big garden. Damiano the host is very nice and kind and the communication was excellent. 12 minutes drive from the Center of Lucca. Take under consideration that there is 100 meter of very narrow passageway between two walls on the way but we did it with mini-van and it was ok, and it’s worth it.

Es war sehr sauber. Es ist wirklich sehr ruhig und in der Natur gelegen.

Die Ausstattung ist sehr einfach. Die Anreise über die Straße ist schon eine Herausforderung. Es gibt Stellen an denen die Außenspiegel angeklappt werden müssen.

Spartanskt boende i vacker omgivning och nära till Lucca.

Vacker omgivning. Väldigt lugnt och skönt men ska definitivt endast bokas om man har bil eller gillar en lång promenad. Värden kunde enkelt nås på telefon och svarade snabbt!

Sängen och kuddarna var nog det värsta jag sovit i, inte alls bekväma. Soffan var inge vidare den heller. Möblerna skulle behöva bytas ut snarast.

Un loc de relaxare in inima Toscanei

O locatie absolut superba care isi merita numele. E o cazare unde să mergi daca vrei sa te relaxezi. Copiii se pot juca liberi si in siguranță Are 4 apartamente iar noi am avut noroc de vecini foarte drăguți. Ultimii 200 de metri inainte de a ajunge la proprietate sunt provocatori fiind foarte ingust si trebuie mers cu grija, dar proprietarul are grija sa anunțe de la început. Damiano este foarte prompt sa răspundă tuturor solicitarilor si ne-a ajutat cu tot ce am avut nevoie Bucataria este utilata cu tot ce am avut nevoie Pozele corespund cu realitatea Wi fi merge bine in casa dar afara nu ai aproape deloc semnal. Piscina este foarte curată Sunt plase de tantari așa ca nu am avut probleme cu insectele Acces usor spre multe destinatii (Pisa, Florenta, mare)

Nu exista serviciul de curățenie pe perioada cat stai si nu se schimba prosoapele in această perioada (poate doar la cerere, noi nu am cerut) Nu este aer condiționat (dar cred ca e ceva specific zonei iar seara lasam toate geamurile deschise si se aerisea bine) Prizele sunt ciudate iar pe unele nu se potrivesc incarcatoarele de telefon sau hair dryer dar sunt mai multe in camera si poti gasi una care sa se potriveasca deci nu a fost o problema.
