Margana Tower

Margana Tower is in an incredible location. We walked almost everywhere—the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Roman Forum, Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Campo de’ Fiori, and countless restaurants were all just minutes away. The apartment itself is comfortable, clean, and full of character, making it feel like you’re truly living in the heart of historic Rome. We’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Rome on foot.

It was a great location and had a beautiful rooftop terrace to enjoy.

The kitchen and bathroom were great, everything we could need including dishwasher.. and a kettle!!The property was modern and very clean. No traffic at night and had external shutters to block morning light. The property was compact but we spent most of our time outside. There was a small tv in the main bedroom. It was well organised with the host meeting you upon arrival and being contactable throughout the stay.

Unfortunately we didn’t sleep well which is why we rated it lower. The main bed didn’t have a headboard and we only had 1 pillow each which was lumpy and kept sliding down the back of the bed. Our daughter took the second bedroom which had a sofa bed in it and slept well but our teenage son’s sofa bed in the living room had no duvet and he could feel all of the springs of the mattress. This sofa bed really needs a thick mattress topper. The host delivered us more towels and one more pillow. We used the towels to stuff the back of our bed and the rest our teenage son used to sleep on. Would have been nice to have had the tv in the lounge instead of the bedroom.
