Impressive Apartment in Madrid Center by Batuecas

The location of this apartment is fantastic. Really close to the places we wanted to visit but also nice and quiet. There is an amazing choice of cafes and restaurants in the area. The apartment is really pleasant and comfortable. The host gave us an excellent recommendation for eating out while we were there.

Communicating with the host was not always easy.

Fanns enbart en nyckel. och ytterdörren är låst vilket gjorde det svårt att dela på oss. Den ena bäddsoffan saknade madrass, den andra saknade lämplig bäddutrustning vilket gjorde det obekvämt att sova i vardagsrummet.

Good location, round the corner from the Tirso Metro , Lidl , delicious Helados Patagonia Antesanal (ice cream) and lovely Cinco Hileras breakfast cafe. 10 mins walk to bustling Sol area Best directions for taxi's / Uber to get to the apartment is Centro Municipal de Mayores Anton Martin.

Everything was excellent, just be aware the downstairs front door is a bit tricky to open.

The location is very close to the city centre and the apartment has a nice and modern design.

We were a group of 5 friends and we arrived at the flat around 3 p.m.Just after getting there we realized the bed sheets for the sofa bed had stains and didn't smell like fresh washcloth and promptly we sent a message for the available contact. So they had time to immediatly solve the cleaning problem, but instead they chose to just bring the clean bed sheets the morning after, what was very unprofessional. The living room windows have no blackouts and the balcony doors are made of wood with big holes to the exterior which makes very difficult to climatize the room during cold weather. It could have been a good experience and stay if the company that manage the flat was more professoional. If you have other options in the nearby area, I would advise you to choose those instead.
