PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!

This was our family's second stay at 22b&b and as expected, Ingrid and Piet were simply amazing. They are so welcoming and warm and friendly- this property is the model for which other bed and breakfasts should follow! We stayed in the family room with our 16 year old daughter and it was FABULOUS! We (the parents) had a lovely, comfy bed and large sitting area, with couch and three chairs, overlooking a lovely outdoor patio. Our bathroom had a gorgeous shower with a glass wall adorned with plants behind it-- I can't even explain the beauty. Our daughter had her own separate bedroom with her own half bath so she could have her privacy as well. This family room was huge and honestly bigger than some apartments where I have lived! The breakfast is delicious and so much attention is paid to make sure there is something for everyone-- eggs and fresh bread with more flavors of jam than you can count, along with fresh juice and other pastries, yogurt and lovely fruit and multiple kinds of granola You are fine if you're a vegan, or gluten free, or a meat lover or a cheese enthusiast and or if you just want chocolate puff cereal. I have never seen so many flavors of tea in my life. Thank you for a lovely, warm visit. We hated to leave! But we will see you again!!

a home away from home

Excellent communication with the host and excellent availability to welcome us. Parking was secured so we could park the car - not easy in this area - and we went on discovering the city. Very easy access to town, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent and bed very comfortable. The host shared tips and recommendations with us when solicitated. in overall, an excellent stay in an historic building restaured and kept in excellent shape with care and love. we would recommend! and thank you

The breakfast was a highlight, offering a delicious spread that set us up perfectly for exploring the city each day. Hosts Ingrid and Piet struck exactly the right balance, providing attentive service and helpful recommendations while respecting privacy and independence. They were there when needed them and invisible otherwise, a rare skill in hospitality.

My family had a lovely time and peaceful stay at 22bnb and would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed the unique property and personal touches of the owners. We felt welcomed and appreciated the delicious breakfast every morning in a cozy environment. The beds were also very comfortable adding a great deal to our experience. My family would definitely stay here again.

Incredible!

What a unique and wonderful place. The room was spacious, beautiful and so comfortable. The hosts were exceptionally kind and thoughtful both before and during our trip.

Those less mobile might need to be aware of the stairs/steps but these are clearly advertised.

Room is so gorgeous - a lot of space, well thought details in designing. We felt ourself more than comfortable. I would like to say regarding hospitality of Ingrid and Piet. Extremely friendly, accommodating and relaxed atmosphere, the hosts are superb and welcoming, this was a real discovery for me that I plan to treasure! I felt completely welcome, such a wonderful atmosphere full of warmth and dedication, I cannot be any better really :-)

Gorgeous and spacious b&b with a killer breakfast

Loved staying here. Very comfortable and well located. Ingrid and Piet are kind and generous hosts. And the breakfast is delicious! Still thinking about the scrambled eggs wrapped in bacon… yum!

A welcome break in a welcoming place.

Our hosts, Ingrid and Piet made us feel very welcome and gave us good advice about things to see and do in Antwerp. The building is full of lovely period details and innovative interior design. Everything from the bread, honey and jam served for breakfast to the towels, bedding and toiletries provided in the bedrooms is carefully chosen. There is a comprehensive buffet for breakfast with cooked items, including delicious porridge with fruit compote, provided on request. Our bedroom and bathroom were very clean and spacious with high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the quiet street. An excellent selection of complementary teas, coffee pods and cold drinks was provided and there were more snacks and drinks available at a modest cost.

Excellent B&B convenient for visiting old Antwerp

The room was large and well equipped. A large comfortable bed, small fridge, kettle and Nespresso machine. The hosts were usually present and very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a wide mixture of breads, cereals, fruits, meats, cheese, etc. They provided an underground garage 100 metres away.

We were on the top floor with two flights of stairs. This is typical of Belgian town houses.

Very helpful owners, nothing was too much trouble. They even helped me carry my motorcycle luggage from the bike to the room.

The room is huge, stylish, and comfortable. Very spacious, with loads of natural light coming in from gorgeous windows. The bathroom is unique, with an installation combining lights and plants that made showering an extra relaxing experience. Top quality amenities are available, from the bathroom products you'd expect, to tea & coffee, plus cold drinks from the mini fridge, which came in handy in July's hot weather. The room was spotless clean, as were other facilities. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options from fresh produce. The hosts are very friendly and available, offered all sorts of materials to support my visit to Antwerpen. Location is not central, but there are good transport links to the city's main attractions, plus is at short walking distance to De Koninck Brewery. Would love coming back to this little jewel in Antwerpen, can't recommend it enough.

Great base for city visit with warm welcome

Lovely warm welcome from hostess. Large light room with small but efficient bathroom. Modern basic colourful decor . Lent travel card to get tram into centre. Booked safe car park space at extra cost. Lovely cafe attached in the day. Great breakfast. Building full of character. Tea and coffee facilities in room.

City Centre good 45 min walk away. 2 flights of very steep stairs up to bedroom.
