Pey Berland: Spacious apartment in an old townhouse

Francois was a gracious and accommodating host. We requested an early check in due to our flights. She was happy to help us out. Her place is so lovely, it felt comfortable and familiar. The location was fantastic, we walked everywhere. If walking is not your thing, the tram stop is one street away. It’s so convenient. We would happily stay here again.

This charming flat has an ideal location - a block from the cathedral, in a quiet building, with fascinating shops and art nearby. Francoise is a helpful host and this is her real home, so it's complete. It is at the top of the building, a classic French courtyard apartment building.

Lovely spacious apartment, with all necessary facilities provided. Great kitchen/dining/living room space & spacious bedroom.Host met us in person & provided helpful information about Bordeaux, with recommendations for eating, shopping etc.Location could not be better - walking distance to all the sights & tram to the airport just round the corner!We found absence of a shower a little tricky, but otherwise, a great stay

First, Francoise is wonderful. She met us at the local parking office (we’re on a driving holiday through France) to help with our less-than-perfect French and ensure our needs were met. She went well beyond what I would expect of a host. She also provided a very thorough list of favorite walks, sites, restaurants, patisseries, etc. The apartment is well appointed and spacious, located less than a block from the tram stop and walking distance to the vast majority of the city’s attractions (Cathedrals, restaurants, shopping, etc.). Day trips to vineyards were easy. We truly enjoyed our stay - Francoise and the location of the apartment were a key to that.
