Edmond Vibes Barrio de Salamanca

I really enjoyed my stay at Edmond Vibes Barrio de Salamanca. I especially liked how easy and automated the entire check-in process was. Before arriving, I received a passcode by text that allowed me to open both the main entrance to the building and the door to my apartment. There was no need to carry keys or arrange a specific time to meet someone for check-in, which made arriving very convenient. The location was another big advantage. There is a grocery store just a couple of doors away on the same block, which was extremely convenient, and the apartment is close to shops, restaurants, cafés and everything else I needed in the Barrio de Salamanca, Madrid. The apartment was comfortable and the location made it very easy to enjoy this beautiful part of Madrid. I would definitely stay here again.

The biggest negative was the construction taking place in the building directly next door. My apartment faced the courtyard and the new building under construction, so there was significant construction noise every day from approximately 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., including Saturday. This made it difficult to relax or enjoy a quiet morning in the apartment, and it is especially important for guests who may be working remotely during the day. I understand that the construction is outside the property's control, but guests should be made aware of it when booking a courtyard-facing apartment. Considering the amount I paid for my stay, I also feel the price should have been reduced to reflect the daily construction noise and disruption. The apartment and location were otherwise very good, but the construction definitely affected the overall value of the stay.

The location was nice with metro stops nearby. We enjoyed the small swimming pool because it was so hot.

There were lights flickering (kitchen light) and the lamp by the couch was very dim. The bathroom is small. The washing machine was difficult to get open and the drying option did not dry the clothes. We had to call to ask for a drying rack. The kitchen chairs were uncomfortable. The television control did not work well, had to turn tv on/off and change channels. There were pee stains on the outside of the toilet, the whole property needs a good cleaning.

الشقة نظيفة ومريحة تجاربي في مدريد مع الشقق مو كويسة، هذي اول مرة ارتاح على شقة. اخذت الي فيها البلكونة تصير طابقين. الطابق الأول جلسة وحمام ومطبخ و البلكونة. الطابق الثاني غرفة النوم مع حمام ايضاً (مع ملاحظة الصعود لها عن طريق درج صغير ففتحت الشنطة في الطابق الارضي وركبت الاغراض تدريجياً للغرفة ).

التكييف خرب اكثر من مرة واضطريت اتواصل معاهم. يحلوا المشكلة بس بعد فترة. الانترنت ماكان يوصل البلكونة وتواصلت معاهم وقالوا راح يحلوها ولا حلوها.

The location was convenient, and communication with the host was good.

Our stay was disappointing overall. One of the bedroom air conditioners didn’t work, the beds were fold-out beds rather than proper beds, and there was ongoing construction right next door. The apartment felt much more like a hostel than the design-forward accommodation we expected—overall it seemed dated, with very small bathrooms and a lack of comfort.
