The Dormy House Hotel

I loved everything about the property. It is a lovely local B&B, the staff are absolutely lovely, the location was great. I was able to park my car on arrival even though I arrived earlier than the check-in time, and was able to leave it after I had checked out. The star of the show was the balcony room overlooking the cliff tops and sea. I have wanted to stay in this specific room for a long time and it did not disappoint. The view from the balcony was perfect, lovely to have an evening drink on and a morning coffee. The bath in the room was incredible. It was so deep and relaxing. The bed was comfy and cosy and the breakfast hamper had vegan options at my request. It was a perfect stay!

continental breakfast on the Saturday only, when paid for fullenglish both days, also £5 for a pint of lime and soda which is really expensive for soft drinks which in any pub is £1.50 max

Great location, great food, friendly staff and dog friendly all we hoped for. Best thing was the continental breakfast hamper in the room each day. Will definitely stay again.

Nothing to dislike.

The breakfast was really poor. Alpen, instant porridge, croissants, yogurts and fruit which had to be eaten in our room. We were expecting a good choice of hot and cold breakfasts and were very disappointed with the meagre selection.

There was a large pipe outside our room. I think it was a flue or extraction pipe, possibly fir the kitchen. It was extremely noisy and a couple of times it was chugging away all evening, only cutting off at 1am. It kept us awake and detracted from the view out of our window. The hotel looked a bit run down, with scraped paint on doors and walls, unvaccuumed carpets on the stairs and a lack of attention to detail.
