About this apartment rental
The well-kept apartment is located in a one-storey house, the roof of which is furnished as a cozy apartment with two balconies (south and west facing). Here is a living room with seating, dining table and LCD TV.
A fully equipped kitchen with a small dining table, bathroom with shower, toilet and a hallway and two bedrooms for up to 4 people are also available. A Paidi cot and a high chair are available for our little guests.
The garden belonging to the apartment and the holiday home on the same property can be seen from the west balcony and can be reached in a few steps around the house. In the garden there is also a terrace belonging to the apartment with seating and a grill. We kindly ask our guests to clean the grill themselves immediately after each use, thank you.
In the garden there is a children's swing and seating (beach chair). If you want to grill, you can do so here.
Things worth knowing about the surroundings in Neßmersiel:
Neßmersiel is a quiet seaside resort off the East Frisian island of Baltrum and belongs to the municipality of Dornum. In healthy North Sea air you can experience the charming landscape on long bike paths or on walks. If you fancy a canoe trip, you can rent a canoe in the paddle and pedal station to explore the East Frisian waterways. You can take the canoe or a bike back to your destination.
The bathing beach, with a large playground, is easy to reach on foot or by bike. The gently sloping bathing beach is particularly suitable for small bathers. At low tide, extensive mudflat walks can be undertaken with expert guidance.
Dog beach with agility park in Neßmersiel
Neßmersiel offers its animal-loving guests a dog beach separated from the normal sandy beach with a dog playground and a fenced-in free-range area - here your four-legged friends can let off steam as they please.
A dog course consisting of 21 hurdles, two slalom routes, seesaw, tunnel, tires, walls, footbridges and a lungeing area round off the small dog paradise. The training devices on the large course correspond to those of the official agility training devices, but were adapted so that dogs of all ages and sizes can use them safely and with joy.
The ferry leaves from Neßmersieler Hafen to the island of Baltrum, which can be reached in about 30 minutes, and invites you to extensive dune walks.
The family free time center "Sturmfrei", which opened in March 2007, is another highlight. For active guests there is a large soccer field, trampolines, air hockey and table football, lounge with large chess set, massage chairs, event stage, boulder wall, T-Wall, the interactive reaction wall, climbing castle over 3 floors, mini bowling alley, pool ball, table tennis, cinema, Xbox Kinect, Wii, Singstar, billiards, darts.
Younger guests can have fun in the children's playground with trampoline and climbing wall. The catering area takes care of your physical well-being.
Approximately A local bike rental shop is located 50 meters from the apartment.

Wir haben zwei schöne Urlaubswochen genossen. Die Wohnung haben wir wie beschrieben vorgefunden. Die Übergabe hat gut geklappt, wir haben uns telefonisch vor unserem Eintreffen angekündigt und sofort vor Ort die Schlüssel bekommen. Es handelt sich um eine sehr ruhige Lage.

An sich kann ich diese kleine aber feine Ferienwohnung wirklich nur empfehlen. Die Wohnung ist für uns 2 Erwachsende und unsere Tochter groß genug gewesen. Wir mussten nicht all zu viel mitschleppen, da ein Kinderbett und ein Hochstuhl vorhanden war, sehr angenehm. Die Küche war vollkommen ok eingerichtet, Wohnzimmer und Bad gut, Das Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, auch wenn es nicht unsere Matratzen waren, sehr geräumig mit viel Platz in den Schränken. Das Bad könnte eine Ablage mehr vertragen und einen Wischer für die Glasscheiben der Dusche ,ansonsten alles Top. Nachdem wir den Tag unterwegs waren saßen wir jeden Abend schön auf dem Balkon und haben den Tag ausklingen lassen. Also wie man sieht, die Wohnung an sich kann ich nur empfehlen, würde diese sicherlich wieder Buchen. ABER: Die Übergabe der Wohnung war eine Katastrophe, ein Himmelfahrtskommando von epischen Ausmaß, was wirklich seines gleichen sucht und die Bewertung der Wohnung wirklich extrem herunterzieht. Am Vortag unserer Anreise wurden wir von einer netten Dame angerufen, die uns für die Übergabe der Ferienwohnung die aktuelle Nummer gab. Hier sollten wir uns eine Stunde vor Ankunft melden, dann würde die Übergabe stattfinden, die Kurkarten ausgehändigt. Gesagt, getan. Am Montag, dass Navi zeigte eine Restzeit von einer Stunde rief ich an der besagten Nummer an. Ein netter Herr meldete sich, wir verabredeten uns dann für den Zeitpunkt. Wir fuhren die Adresse an, niemand zu sehen. 10 Minuten nach Termin klingelte das Handy, leider würde sich seine Ankunft verzögern, es sollte noch 35 Minuten dauern. Nicht schön, gerade mit Kleinkind, aber naja, es war Urlaub, bloß nicht aufregen. Der Herr, der wirklich nett war übergab uns die Schlüssel und, nichts!!! Ich kann jetzt nicht alles schreiben wegen der Zeichenbegrenzung also kurz: Keine Übergabe der Wohnung, Gartenbenutzung? Fehlanzeige! , Waschmaschine? keine Ahnung wo diese steht, haben uns dann die Bewohner der anderen Wohnung gezeigt. Mülltonne habe ich voll zur Straße gezogen, weil kein Platz mehr,Kurkarten vergessen,2 h gewartet und bei der Abfahrt: Am Vorabend gemeldet, Termin ausgemacht, keiner kam am Folgetag, habe schließlich alles Fotografiert, den Schlüssel in die Küche gelegt, zugezogen und wir sind wieder mal nach langem warten gefahren, ich habe ihm noch geschrieben das das so nicht geht, keine Reaktion. Also Fazit: Schöne Wohnung, sehr zu empfehlen, aber die Übergabe hat uns fast einen Urlaubstag gekostet, schade !
