Everything about Spilstead Barn was perfect for us. The Barn is extremely well equipped and felt like a home from home set in beautiful countryside. Very easy access to Battle and Hastings and not too far from Rye and the beaches at Camber for a great outing with the dogs. Roger and Ronnie are great hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful place.
The heating took a bit of getting used to but was very cosy on the wet windy winter days.

The location was excellent, plenty to do in the area. Also it was lovely to be able to walk on the property and enjoy the lake. A lovely country side location.
For 4 adults the kitchen was a bit compact, although it did have everything except a dishwasher which would have helped. This would not stop us coming back.
