A very comfortable and peaceful stay can be had at the Old Parlour. A mile or so off the road to Battle you travel almost to the end of a farm lane/track and discover this very delightful spot. Overlooking fields which, during our stay, were home to a herd of very young cattle, a very calming place to wake up to and to sit in the sunshine (not that we had much during our stay!!). Comfortable beds and fabulous shower rooms made for an enjoyable few days. Good walks from the door and just Battle 5 mins or so away so easy for local shopping and eating. For those reliant on phones etc a very good wi fi signal too!!

Lovely converted barn, very comfortable and spacious. Had everything we needed for a relaxed stay. Great views from the garden of the surrounding fields. It is at the end of a long narrow road, but that wasn’t a big issue as it is only used by the residents, but this made the holiday so peaceful. Battle is a short drive away, with plenty to see and local amenities. Hosts were very helpful, but not intrusive. Would definitely recommend, if you’re looking for a peaceful break.

We arrived to find such a wonderful place. When we walked in it was so clean and felt like home from home; sitting by the log fire was such a treat. Mark was very kind and helpful and the welcome pack was generous and much appreciated-thank you.

A lovely cottage. It is a little isolated at the end of a part unmade lane but that adds to the charm of the place. Close to Battle and a great pub but both have to be got to by way of busy roads so a car is needed rather than on foot. Great places to explore like Bodiam Castle, Winchelsea and Rye and excellent walking nearby. The welcome pack was appreciated.
