Amazing weekend family break at High Hedges .

Melanie was an amazing host,she made sure we had everything we needed and more. The little touches,the pastries,the milk,the water in the fridge,the fruit,not expected but was very thoughtful. The apartment was extremely tidy, facilities great and it was easy access to the town centre despite the fact that the bridge was closed. Big thanks to Melanie,we will definitely visit again.

The property was exactly as described, it was very clean, cosy and comfortable and was in a fantastic location for accessing the city centre. The owners were warm and welcoming throughout.

Great stay. Wonderful host

All you need was in the apartment- fully self contained kitchen with washing machine/dryer. Parking onsite. Bus goes by the street out the front for travel into Oxford town. Mel was wonderful - provided us with some welcoming pastries, fruit and flowers! Lovely. Good spot for a base for Oxford, Blenheim Castle and surroundings.

Comfortable apartment in an excellent location

Warm welcome and lots of helpful local information from Melanie. Croissants and hot cross buns with homemade marmalade and jam too. Also fruit bowl and milk. Fresh flowers were an added thoughtful touch. Private parking right outside the door to the apartment. Apartment was beautifully clean and comfortable. Bus stops right outside to and from Oxford centre. Also local shops and pub within walking distance.

location is perfect, on two bus routes plus another one which combines the two within minutes. Into Oxford, the photos do not give it justice. lovely apartment, great location, close to supermarkets, pubs, bus routes.

Excellent accomodation, and only a short drive away from Oxford Uni and masses of history!

It was an apartment so did not have breakfast as such, but we were provided with all the makings for tea and coffee and there was also milk and fresh croissants and 3 kinds of jam in the fridge. Also, it was cold and rainy when we arrived and we had had a very long journey, so Melanie was there to greet us warmly and showed us how to put the heating on and the apartment warmed up very quickly!

A fabulous few days in Oxford

An extremely comfortable and enjoyable stay with reassuring and friendly assistance on hand if we needed it. Parking was not an issue and car charging points very close by were also helpful. Everything had been thought of for comfort and practicalities. Flowers, croissants and a fruit bowl were all wonderful extras on our arrival and a supermarket within a few minutes walk was ideal.

It took some care and attention to find the address with our satnav but our host was on hand to make it simple.

Excellent place, very clean and a super-friendly host. There are good shopping and dining options within walking distance. Currently takes a little longer to get into Oxford city due to the work on the bridge but still quite convenient and a very good value for money.

breakfast not provided as such. Self catering ..but owner provided milk, tea/coffee, Croissants & 3 types of homemade jam Fresh Fruit. Fresh Flowers. Excellent kitchen tools. Very Clean. Two TV. Beautiful hanging baskets. Delightful, charming Hostess

one very very slight grumble..one TV was temperamental --or was it us? Came on extremely loudly ..2 control duffers & never worked out which did what! It could well have been our lack of NO -How!?

Perfect stay

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, it was nice to be shown round. The apartment facilities were great, very spacious. It had everything we needed to cook and the king size bed was very comfy. Lots of little extras provided such as yoghurts, croissants and fresh fruit.

Great host. Great accommodation. I highly recommend staying at High Hedges.

The apartment was everything we expected and more. Our host Melanie was delightful and helped us out in a number of ways. A basket of fruit awaited us on arrival and other food and condiments were supplied. Parking was easy and a couple of supermarkets are just down the road. It's a 5 minute drive into Oxford normally.

Nothing. The only issue we had was not with the property. At the moment they are doing works at the train line and you can't drive straight into Oxford so it's a 20 minute trip.

Very relaxing apartment and very convenient for Oxford and access to the A34.

The location was very convenient for visiting our family. The fact that the apartment was self-contained meant that we could come and go as we pleased. The apartment was well stocked with “essential” items such as tea, coffee, bread, butter, home made jam, milk, etc

The property was on the first floor which was OK for us, but may be a problem for less able-bodied people.

Wonderful apartment to stay in whilst visiting Oxford

High Hedges was excellent in every way. Host was super helpful and friendly. Apartment was excellent, clean and well fitted out. Breakfast provisions were also very good. Public transport and shops were also very close. Great location for visiting Oxford and surrounds.

Beautiful apartment, spacious free parking and situated only a 15 min walk into Oxford centre.

The only thing I could say to that was that it was a little noisy but this was due to roadworks and noisy workmen!

Great apartment. Comfortable well equipped. Location very near city centre which was easily accessible by a short bus ride. The host Melanie was absolutely lovely - we would definitely stay again.
