Apartman Stura 1

The apartment is very close to the sea, maybe a minute down a path and then you can go down some steps to a rocky beach area with some steps to climb in/out. You can also walk right towards the old town and get to the main gate in just over 20 minutes, or go left and get to a popular beach area with a bar. There is parking available right outside the property's garden. The apartment is small but very well arranged with a small closet, drawer and unit to put clothes in, but plenty of space for the 8 nights we stayed there. The owners are very friendly and approachable and Jagoda showed us around when we arrived, and pointed out the anti mosquito plug that they have along with a pack of refills. The bathroom was well stocked, plenty of toilet rolls and hotel sized toiletries. The kitchen had 2 rings, a small kettle and enough equipment that we made a few basic meals - the fridge has a small freezer compartment with an ice tray. There's a small table and 2 chairs in the apartment but outside in the garden area there is a larger table with 4 chairs which is a nice place to eat an evening meal. The bed is comfortable and the wifi is good enough for streaming - there is a smart tv that you can log in to Netflix and other apps as well. The air conditioning worked well and was very much appreciated! We heartily recommend going to Art Kavana just outside the old town walls as they do amazing cakes - we went 5 times (they do cocktails as well!) - also, the archaeological museum is very good, a great collection of Roman artifacts, and the ancient glass museum is fascinating, ensure you go before 2pm weekdays or a Saturday before 1pm as there is a resident glass blower who will do a demonstration. Loads of great boat trips available.

The streets leading up to the apartment are a bit of a narrow maze so just rely on google maps and be careful of pedestrians. We didn't have any bother driving to and from the apartment and the surrounding area.
