100 meters from the beaches and in town

As advertised, this apartment was truly very close to the beach. Only a 5 minute walk away!The apartment itself is pretty spacious & thus perfect for two people. Everything was clean when we arrived: the bedsheets, the towels, the floor, etc. Although not equipped with AC, there was a big fan in the room which helped to keep it cool.Madame Christine is a wonderful host. She was quick to answer all our questions and showed us around the apartment upon our check-in. It was also very sweet of her to leave us a couple water bottles in the fridge!The only reason we give this a 4/5 is because we wish we could’ve had some basic cooking and cleaning essentials at our disposition, such as salt/pepper, oil, laundry detergent (there were some cleaning products next to the washing machine but we couldn’t find a detergent), a bigger broom so that we could clean after ourselves, and tissues and paper towel. We also couldn’t find the oven although the description said there was one (unless the microwave also served as an oven). Moreover, we think the toaster should be replaced as it seemed old and smelled like burnt plastic when we tried using it. Also, the towel hooks on the kitchen walls kept unsticking and falling down which quickly became quite annoying so they should definitely be glued better in place.

Nous avons passés un très bon séjour malgré quelques petits incidents indépendamment de la volonté de la propriétaire (coupure d’électricité due au chauffe-eau…). À noter que la porte de la salle de bain et des toilettes ne se ferme pas, petit défaut du studio qui par ailleurs, est très bien situé. Celui-ci possède plein de commerces à proximité. Il y a, de plus, beaucoup d’endroits à visiter ! (Parc phœnix, château de Nice, Parc du Mont-Boron, Vieux-Nice…). Bien évidemment, la plage qui se trouve à 2-3 minutes de la location ainsi que beaucoup de transports dont le tram et les bus. Ajoutons que la propriétaire est très aimable et à l’écoute au moindre souci.

The great apartment for a small budget. It is perfectly located to the Promenade and Gambetta. The flat is clean and well equipped. Communicating with its owner Christine was great. She was fast and friendly to respond and very organized. She is ready to solve all problemes. There was no difficulties with the key deliverance, when our plan got delayed.We got even an extra coffee maker when we told her our coffee preferences. Thank you, Christine! We are looking forward to meeting you again.
