About this apartment rental
The Tabarani Houses are located on a hill in the large valley of the Imera river in a panoramic position that allows you to have a vast view from the Monte Pellegrino of Palermo to the highest peaks of the Madonie. The company carries out agricultural activities (olive grove and breeding), hospitality in six residential units, each consisting of two or three rooms for a total of 28 beds, and catering with a room for 60 people.
All accommodations are furnished and equipped with complete services with shower and it is possible to connect to the wireless ADSL network. From almost all the rooms you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views.
On the ground floor there is the reception room, the oldest part of the houses with its "historic" flooring.
The accommodations are located on the ground floor, Rosa canina and Biancospino and four on the first floor, Ortica, Ginestra, Mirto, Cardo (the names correspond to plants that grow spontaneously in the surrounding countryside: with thistle and myrtle we prepare excellent liqueurs for our guests).
Rosa canina has a triple bedroom and a living room with extra bed.
Biancospino is composed of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a living room where two beds are allowed.
Ortica offers a very large double and single bedroom.
Ginestra and Mirto each consist of a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a living room with armchair bed.
Cardo has a double bedroom and a large living room where there are two single beds.
The restaurant occupies the central part of the ground floor and can accommodate 60 people. The room is the most important historical testimony of the houses and contains, where they were placed, the ancient presses and the millstone, on which the date 1886 is engraved. Next to the mill is the intact manger, where the mule or the donkey, which rotated the mill, took its forage. In front of the presses are the pits where the vats were placed in which the mixture of water and oil was collected which then, due to the different density, separated into the two components.
The kitchen allows you to taste typical Madonie recipes, in some months of the year with vegetables from the garden or that grow spontaneously in the surrounding countryside, and with company meats and with products from associated or nearby companies.

First and foremost, Matteo is the perfect gentleman. A prince of prince’s. He is as though he just came off the set of a long ago movie about gentlemen. We enjoyed visiting with him. He has put together a very unique and very rural apartment “building.” It is his home but the apartments are simply a part of a large compound. He has several places for guests to stay. Matteo also has a “kitchen” where wonderful Antoinette prepares special dinners each evening for the guests. We took advantage of dinner two nights and dined outside rather than inside simply because it was so comfortable. The apartments are basic but comfortable. Just know this place is in the country and I mean way outside of town. I am an agriculturist so it was natural to me. Super enjoyed the visit but I can see where more urban types might be surprised. We will stay again if ever in the area which is the second most important part of this message.

La case Tabarani est un lieu de séjour hors du commun, authentique, paisible et raffiné. Nous avons eu un accueil inoubliable par Matteo, très attentionné et à l'image du lieu.
A ce jour, notre séjour favori en Sicile.
