Excellent find on booking.com for a weeks ski trip

Perfect little spot for a family of 3. Two bedrooms, all the facilities you need to cook a meal if you want to, comfortable sofa and chair in the lounge. Great speedy wifi which is highly unusual in the mountains so we streamed Amazon prime films! The Garmisch classic, Zugspitze, Lermoos and Ehrwald provide more than enough piste km's to enjoy yourself for a whole week but you do need a car with roofbox to get round in. The hosts even left us dishwasher tablets, tea towels, washing up liquid and dish cloths although we did bring this ourselves as a precaution. Surprisingly part of the inventory was a senseo coffee machine, again we brought our own but we didnt need to!.

No heated ski boot racks so we had to take them in to dry over night but this isn't a big issue. Just room for improvement. A few more pillows in the bedrooms would have been nice.

Ein toller Aufenthalt in Grainau (mit kleinen Abstrichen).

Super Lage - man ist mit dem Auto schnell bei Edeka/Aldi, viele Restaurants in der Nähe, Apotheke in 15 min fußläufig zu erreichen. Eibsee, Höllental, Partnachklamm, Kuhfluchtwasserfälle, Ettal und Schloss Linderhof...alles mit dem Auto nicht weit entfernt. An sich ruhig gelegen, mehrmals am Tag fährt allerdings der Zug mit lautem Pfeifen vorbei (von früh morgens an). Auch Kuhglocken hört man deutlich rund um die Uhr, das fanden wir allerdings eher idyllisch statt störend. Der Blick von der Terrasse ist super schön. Büsche könnten allerdings mal wieder beschnitten werden, damit der Blick auf die Zugspitze nicht zuwuchert. Parkplatzsituation ist super. An sich hat uns die FeWo gut gefallen, vor allem das Bad. Die Größe ist für 2-3 Personen mit Hund perfekt. WLAN war immer super. Ausstattung der Küche war alles in allem gut. Im Sommer ist die Wohnung angenehm kühl. Grainau ist ein toller Urlaubsort etwas abseits vom wuseligen und volleren Garmisch. Den Schlüssel in Garmisch abzuholen, hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört.

Leider war der Geruch in der FeWo eher unangenehm. Vielleicht nicht unumgänglich, wenn in der FeWo regelmäßig Hunde sind. Umso weniger verstehen wir, warum es eine Stoffcouch und überhaupt Teppichläufer in der FeWo gibt. Die Sauberkeit war insgesamt gut. Die Fensterscheiben müssen allerdings mal wieder geputzt werden! Wir hatten jetzt Ende Juli/Anfang August tagsüber ein großes Wespenproblem auf der Terrasse. Umso schöner wäre es gewesen, wenn es zumindest im Wohnzimmer einen Insektenschutz vor dem Fenster gegeben hätte. Man konnte nicht 2 Min lüften, was wir wegen des Geruchs aber gern gemacht hätten, weil sofort Wespen reinkamen. Dadurch mit Hund eher unentspannt, weil man immer aufpassen muss.

Tolle Zeit in einer gemütlichen, sauberen Wohnung, ich komme gerne wieder

Tolle Lage und toller Bergblick, geschmackvolle Einrichtung ,sehr sauber

Die Entfernung zum Büro , zur Schlüsselabholung und Schlüsselabgabe und die späte Bezugsfertigkeit war nicht so optimal , ebenso wie der weite Weg vom Parkplatz zur Wohnung zur Be- und Entladung des Autos war für meine für meine älteren Familienmitglieder mit eingeschränkter Beweglichkeit ein Problem und vorher nicht ersichtlich.
