Caroline and her family were a delight. The apartment was spacious, clean and equipped with everything we needed including extra fluffy towels! We took advantage of Caroline offering her extra service of buying breakfast items for our arrival which was perfect! She even left us some beer and wine! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this VRBO!

The apartment is roomy and super clean. Great for 2 to 3 people. The kitchen has most you'll need and the store to get your food is just a few miles away. The smaller refrigerator is deeper and bigger than it looks. Has a extra drawer for added space. Beds are comfortable and you do have a safe if you feel it's needed. The location is beautiful.On a small quite street that adds to the privacy. The balconies are great. We sat on it every night and watched the sun shine on the mountains in the evening. The owner was extremely kind and helpful. If we could come back to the area, we wouldn't stay anywhere else.Overall highly recommend.

Wir haben mit unserer 2-jährigenTochter eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung “Waxenstein” verbracht. Die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich und auch der gesamte Aufenthalt war perfekt. Die Wohnung war sehr gut eingerichtet und man hatte alles zur Verfügung. Die Betten waren bequem und das vorhandene Babybett (Reisebett) war in einem einwandfreiem Zustand. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und in sich sehr ruhig. Die Räume kann man komplett abdunkeln, sodass der Mittagsschlaf unserer Tochter in nix gestört werden konnte. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Bäcker, Metzger, Edeka und Restaurants) sind in ein paar Minuten per Fuß zu erreichen. Die Bushaltestellen und der Bahnhof ist in ca. 15 Minuten per Fuß zu erreichen. Das Gasthaus ist sehr zu empfehlen und sollten wir unseren Urlaub wiedermal in dieser Gegend verbringen, wissen wir auch wo wir uns melden werden. Vielen Dank.

Unser Familie, 2 Erwachsene, 2 kinder (4 und 12), haben eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung “Waxenstein” verbracht. An der Ankunft wurden wir begrüßt von Frau Maurer mit Sekt, Bier und Limonade. An jedem Kissen war eine kleine Süßigkeit und auf dem Tisch fanden wir eine “Willkommens Nachricht”. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr liebevoll (klassisch/modern) eingerichtet. Es fehlt an nichts. Die Betten sind bequem und haben einen eigenen Balkon. Man kann gemütlich auf den Balkonen frühstücken oder Abendessen. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen und in sich sehr ruhig. Ein Wanderweg ist gleich hinter dem haus und rundum, innerhalb von ein paar Minuten, gibt es viele andere Wanderwege. Einen Bäcker, Metzger, Edeka, Pizzeria, und andere sind 5 - 10 Minuten (bei fuß) zu erreichen. Der Zugspitz Bahnhof ist ca 15 Minuten (bei fuß) vom haus entfernt. Das Gasthaus Maurer ist sehr zu empfehlen und wir werden auf alle fälle wiederkommen.

Wir waren zum wiederholten Male bei Maurers zu Gast. Die Wohnung Zugspitze mit 2 Balkonen ist wunderbar. Von dem einen Balkon kann man die Zugspitze sehen und von dem anderen Kreuzeck, Alpspitze etc.. Es war schön, dass Familie Maurer uns ein Alpenfrühstück zur Verfügung gestellt hat.

Wir haben mit 2 Erwachsenen und einem 9-jährigen Kind die Wohnung Waxenstein gebucht. Kurz gesagt: Es stimmte alles! Eine schöne geräumige Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung und einem tollen Bergblick von 3 Balkonen Richtung Ost, Süd und West. Alles war in super Zustand und die Sauberkeit war 1A! Die Gastgeberfamilie Maurer war sehr nett und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen. Alles im Ort Grainau ist zu Fuß in Kürze zu erreichen. Uneingeschränkt weiter zu empfehlen, vielen Dank Familie Maurer!

Our family of four (2 adults/2 teens) enjoyed a lovely weekend in this fewo and we would certainly return again. The two bedroom apartment was very clean and very well decorated. We were welcomed with a nice personal note , chocolate on the pillowcases and a beer/sekt in the fridge. The teens were happy with the free wifi. (Of course). For those not familiar with the area, you will appreciate the many brochures highlighting tourist information provided. We received excellent customer service from the fewo. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space over the weekend. It is located close to the Grainau Dorfplatz bus stop so no car necessary. Nice restaurants/bars nearby. Fewo parking could be a challenge but we were lucky to find a good spot right in front. Perfect location for peace and quiet. I highly recommend this fewo. Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Vom ersten Kontakt an alles sehr organisiert. Wir haben 5 Tage Mitte/Ende Juni in der Ferienwohnung Alpspitze verbracht. Die Wohnung hat zur Südseite im 2.Stock einen Balkon und ist eigentlich sehr ruhig. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Küchenarbeitsbereich fällt etwas klein aus, aber völlig ausreichend und komplett ausgestattet. Bad ist neuwertig. Neben einem Elternschlafzimmer gibt es noch ein separates Zimmer mit Sofa und Bett. Entfernung zum "Unteren Dorfplatz", wo sich Post, Bäcker, Supermarkt, Touristinformation und Speiselokalitäten befinden, ist in 250m zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Vermieterin ist zurückhaltend, aber sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend! Leider hat das Wetter nicht ganz mitgespielt, wo dies doch so eine schöne Gegend ist mit vielen Möglichkeiten. Inzwischen war dies unser dritter Urlaub in Grainau. Kommen gerne wieder!

wir haben eine Woche in der Wohnung Alpspitz verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles ist neuwertig eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Sehr schön ist auch das Badezimmer. Vom Balkon konnte man die Zugspitze sehen. Einziger Schwachpunkt, der uns aber nicht so gestört hat, ist die recht kleine Küche. Es gibt nur zwei Kochfelder und keine Spülmaschine. Aber das hat unsere Erholung bei tollen Wetter nicht beeinträchtigt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und geben gerne Auskunft über Wanderwege und den Ort. Bäcker, Schwimmbad und Bahnhof der Alpspitzbahn sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Insgesamt nur sehr zu empfehlen.

Vom 01.08. - 13.08.2011 waren mein Sohn und ich zu Gast in diesem Ferieindomizil. Wir brauchten eigentlich nur ankommen, der Urlaub fing sofort an. Nicht nur das die Wohnung super ordentlich, sauber und bestens ausgestattet war, auch die ruhige Lage und die überdurchschnittliche Gastfreundlichkeit hat uns überzeugt. Wir hatten jederzeit einen Ansprechpartner für Fragen, aber auch für ein privates Gespräch war Zeit. Der Service (Brötchenservice, Handtücherwechsel etc.) wird hier sehr groß geschrieben. Wanderungen sind direkt ab der Unterkunft möglich. Aber auch mit dem Bus (Bushaltestelle ca. 3 Gehminuten entfernt) läßt sich bequem zu einem Ausgangspunkt für eine Wanderung fahren. Als überzeugte Urlauber des Zugspitzdorfes Grainau haben wir eine Unterkunft gefunden, die wir nunmehr immer ansteuern werden, und die wir ohne Einschränkung weiterempfehlen können. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Urlaub!

Wir waren über Karneval mit zwei Kindern in diesem Haus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Jeden Morgen gab es, wie bestellt, frische Brötchen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber,liebevoll dekoriert und sehr gepflegt.In der Küche gab es sogar Filtertüten, Pfeffer & Salz und Reiniger für die Spülmaschine. Wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt und können dieses Haus nur empfehlen...Vielen lieben Dank!

Wir haben unseren Silvester-Urlaub 2010/2011 in der Ferienwohnung Ferienwohnung Wetterstein verbracht: es war ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt über den Jahreswechsel vom 27.12.10-02.01.11. Die Wohnung ist schön in Grainau gelegen, mit einem tollen Blick auf die Bergkette von dem großen Balkon aus. Sie ist geräumig, die Einrichtung ist einem guten Zustand. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Sauberkeit und die Gastfreundlichkeit. Bettwäsche und Handtücher wie im Hotel! Die Wohnung war noch sehr schön weihnachtlich geschmückt, in der Wohnung und im Flur standen u.a. viele Kerzen, die Gastgeber geben sich wirklich Mühe, damit man sich wohlfühlt! ... und der Begrüßungs-Zugspitz-Sekt im Kühlschrank hat bereits für eine sehr schöne Ankunft gesorgt. Wir hatten leider in der Wohnung etwas verloren, was uns die nette Vermieterin jedoch umgehend per Post zusendete, wirklich toll!! Ich kann nur Gutes über unsere Ferienwohnung berichten und kann sie daher nur empfehlen; wir kommen sehr gerne wieder zurück. Vielen Dank nochmals für die schöne Zeit bei Ihnen!

Sehr schöne und und saubere Wohnung mit Bergblick in schöner und ruhiger Umgebung. Nette und entgegenkommende Vermieter. Wir waren in der Nebensaison im Oktober in Grainau. Der Ort ist zu dieser Zeit sehr ruhig - perfekt zum Entspannen, wandern und spazieren gehen. Man kann dennoch zu Fuß im Ort alles für den täglichen Bedarf sowie das Schwimmbad mit Sauna erreichen. Man kann viele Wanderungen jeder Schwierigkeit sowie Spaziergänge (auch mit Kinderwagen im Tal) machen. Mit dem Auto erreicht man sehr schnell Garmisch-Partnenkirchen sowie viele interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe.
