Big apartment in a very central location

We stayed for 5 nights in this very large 3 bedroom 3rd floor apartment with elevator. It's a lovely old building with high ceilings and terazzo floors. The beds were comfortable and there was aircon in all 3 bedrooms. One shower and toilet. Kitchen was reasonably well equipped. Wifi instructions in the apartment were wrong but picked these up from the back of the router and all worked fine. The location is very central and an easy short walk to both the train station and the waterfront for ferry departures. Trains go to Cinque Terre etc. Lots of restaurants and shops/supermarkets close by. To enter you have to retrieve the key from the key safe. Instructions from hosts were clear and they were responsive.

Its noisy due to single glazed windows so bring ear plugs. If you are bringing a car consider carefully arrival and departure times as parking even for unloading bags is difficult. Avoid shop opening hours if you can (roughly 8am-1pm and 4pm-8pm). Paid parking is available fairly close but 15 Euro a day. Hosts can also provide parking but its a long way out (500M) and costs 12 Euro. As its an easy walk from Rapallo train station this would be the best way to arrive.

It was a large well equipped apartment in a very central position. The beds were comfortable and the elevator was welcome. We enjoyed our 4 days there.

The central position which was great also made it noisy. The apartment had air conditioning and perhaps we should have closed the windows and made use of the air con.

The appartment is old but comfortable

However the service we got was under our expectations. First of all, the host didn’t want to bring us the keys because we arrived after 8 o’clock due to several flight delays. Moreover, after a long argument, he told us he would charge us 10 euros per hour late which we finally had to pay if we wanted to sleep in the appartment. Secondly, there was no wifi although the web page says that internet connection is available. We had to contact the host several times to complain but the instructions he gave us were useless. As a result, we had to find another place to do our online work. Finally, we asked them if it was posible to leave the luggage inside the appartment until 1 0’clock (check out time was 10:30) but they refused in a quite impolite way. Definitely the experience was very unpleasant and the attention we got was awful.

The location was exceptional. A few metres away from train station. There is a supermarket that is open during weekends till late near train station. The centre is just across the road. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to eat in.

Saturday evening in the front bedrooms can be a bit noisy.

Location is good, apartment is big, for us as 4 travellers, was really more then enough space. Equiped with needed items. All great.

Exceptional

The apartment is on great location if the purpose of your visit is city, or business. Immediately next to it there is a well-equipped shop and a lot of different cafes and bakeries. The central part with lot of restaurants near the sea, are less then 5 minutes walk. The Apartment is fully equipped. Although the apartment is stylishly decorated as from the fifties of the last century, all devices are very modern and high quality.

The Parking could be a problem, but you have possibility to Park car on parking lot on the train station (2 minutes walk, price is 1,5€ per hour). The good solution also could be private parking lot which is owned by apartment owner (for 10€ per day), but the problem is distance - 15 minutes walk from apartment. During the weekend, parking near the apartment (on the street) are not time limited and are free of charge.

Excelente ubicación , espacioso , nos recibieron con un chocolate en cada habitación . Muy bien ubicado al lado de la estación de trenes. Bien equipado con toallas.

L'alloggio soddisfa tutte le necessità. Consigliato.

Dalla posizione dell'alloggio, Rapallo è facilmente visitabile a piedi con qualsiasi servizio a portata. La grandezza e pulizia dell'alloggio sono ottime. L'ascensore in liguria su palazzi di qualche decina d'anni non è sempre garantita, qui era presente. Tutti gli essenziali sono inclusi e particolarmente graditi.

I letti della camera con il matrimoniale piccolo, seppur comodo, necessiterebbe di una manutenzione; ondeggia fastidiosamente. A parte questo dettaglio, nulla da segnalare.
