Amazing value for the money beautiful, quiet, clean

Amazing value for the money. It’s basically an apartment with balcony area in a quiet courtyard. The room is so beautifully decorated with foam mattress, kitchen sink, kettle, fridge, safe, slipper, bathrobe, free tea, coffee, even coke, milk and muesli. You check in at nearby cafe. However, the owner is not on site so it’s really like Airbnb. So the package I sent to myself was supposedly delivered to the hotel address but no one knows and forever lost. I should have communicated with the owner beforehand.

“Apartment” is more like it than “hotel”

Small room but space is Very well organized and tasteful.

Cleaning staff did not provide some important items, such as sponges to keep kitchen and bathroom counters clean, and to wash dishes. Also we almost ran out of sugar in kitchen.

Minor inconvenience - their card terminal did not work, and they do not accept cash. So I had to arrange a bank transfer for payment. I would suggest to accept cash, at least as a fall-back optionn.

Superb

Cosy room with very nice facilities in the heart of the university area. Clean, quiet, excellent value for money.

The room is on the ground floor with big windows on the internal court. Need to keep the curtains closed most of the time to have privacy.

Exceptional

Exceptionally quiet, serene and beautiful inner yard, solid high quality interior. We were so happy, that we immediately booked the property for our next visit to Hamburg.

There is nothing to dislike, but be aware that the Cafe Leonar associated with the hotel (where you can order breakfast) doesn’t accept foreign credit cards.

Great!

Very nice clean and cozy hotel, very modern and proper. The room was just as it looks on the pictures. Very quiet, no noises from outside, as the room is facing the inside yard. I had everything I needed in the room. There are a few restaurants at the doorstep, so the choice of places to eat is big but don't forget to reserve, they seem to be very busy in the evening and it's not easy to get a table anywhere even during the week. Apart from that, really a very nice experience, and a superb value for the money!

I wish I could have dinner at the restaurant of the hotel, but unfortunately all the tables were reserved. Would be great if the hotel guests were guaranteed to have a table in the restaurant without reservation. There are lots of opportunities to eat in the same street, but almost everything requires a reservation. After a long day of travel, going from place to place looking for dinner is not the most pleasant thing to do.

Das Bett war sehr komfortabel. Ist es total still kein Lärm. Essen im Leonard ist sehr gut. Die Dusche ist geräumig und angenehm.

Wir kommen wieder!

Für das Frühstück sind wir ins Café Leonar gegangen, das direkt vor der Unterkunft liegt. Das Zimmer war sehr schön und sehr ruhig.

Die Parksituation ist problematisch, das kann allerdings nicht vom Hotel gelöst werden. Vielleicht sollte die Stadt Hamburg überlegen, wie z. B. in München, für Hotelgäste temporäre Anwohnerparkausweise auszustellen, die von den Gästen natürlich entsprechend bezahlt werden müssten. Das würde einigen Stress vermeiden.

Klein und fein - ruhig und zentral

sehr ruhig (Innenhof) trotz sehr zentraler Lage sogar Bademantel vorhanden Im Hotel gibt es zwar kein Frühstück dafür aber Müsli von mymüsli für jeden Morgen und Getränke (inkludiert)

Schönes kleines Hotel mitten im besten Viertel Hamburgs

das kleine Grindel ist eine kleine Oase im schönen Stadtviertel Rotherbaum. Gleich in der nächsten Umgebung gibt es genügende Restaurants für jeden Geschmack. Das Einchecken hat es super geklappt. Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Zimmer war sauber und mit viel Komfort

für meinen Geschmack war das Bett viel zu weich... aber das ist Geschmacksache.

Ein kleines Paradies im Hinterhof!

Wunderschönes, liebevoll eingerichtetes, kleines Hotelzimmer in der Nähe des Tennis-Stadions Rothenbaum. Idyllisch im Hinterhof gelegen. In unmittelbarer Nähe findet man viele schöne Cafés und Restaurants. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ankommen und genießen.

Es war in diesem Hinterhof extrem ruhig und die Unterkunft war mit der U-Bahn problemlos zu erreichen. Überhaupt ist das Grindelviertel ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt, um Hamburg zu entdecken. Auch das Lokalangebot in unmittelbarer Umgebung war sehr vielfältig und hatte einen sehr guten Standard.

Es gibt nichts auszusetzen.

wer kein Hotelfeeling braucht, sondern ein gepflegtes Zimmer in schöner Lage, der ist hier richtig!

Der ruhige und grüne Innenhof ist eine kleine Oase. Es gab nachts keine störenden Geräusche. Die Betten waren bequem, die Minibar gebührenfrei nutzbar. Wertsachen konnten im Safe verstaut werden. Man muss wissen, dass das Grindel eigentlich nur zwei Fremdenzimmer ohne Frühstück sind. "Rezeption" ist das benachbarte Café.
