Welcome to Port Tack! This just-renovated 4 bedroom home features a gorgeous kitchen, spacious layout, private pool, private spa and serene lagoon views. This is the ideal rental for an active family that would like to spend time at the beach, riding bikes, relaxing in the pool and spa, or simply wanting to enjoy the best that Palmetto Dunes has to offer in a private & relaxing setting. Located less than 1 mile (or under a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bike ride) to the beach, Port Tack enables easy access to the beautiful Palmetto Dunes beach.
When you step inside this home nestled beneath a canopy of oak trees, you will be greeted by a living area looking onto a large deck, new pool and spa and the renowned 11 mile lagoon. This large living room, with its cathedral ceiling, has double sliding doors which lead to a large private deck. Above the fireplace you will enjoy the new 65" HDTV and there is a variety of games and puzzles for the whole family to enjoy while on vacation. The dining room and screened in porch both offer the ideal place to enjoy a coffee in the morning, or total relaxation anytime of the day. There is also a new gas grill on the deck for your use.

Guests initially enter Port Tack by walking up the stairs to the front porch and front door. Once you enter your code within the electronic door lock on the front door, you will find the home's living room, which flows into the dining area, kitchen, screened porch and back deck. A hallway connects the master suite, king bedroom and hallway bathroom to the home's entryway. A separate hallway near the kitchen connects to the queen bedroom, full bedroom, jack & jill bathroom, half bathroom and laundry room. You can access the back deck from the living room and dining area and the screened porch from the kitchen and dining room. The home's private pool and spa are located in the backyard and are accessible from the back deck.
NO SMOKING. NO PETS. Tenant must be 25 years old. Reservations made for younger individuals will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the home at ALL times. NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. You may not exceed the maximum occupancy at any time — day or night. I was disappointed that the fee structure for the pool/hot tub was not given fully upfront. After booking and paying for the non-refundable 3-day rate, I asked to have the hot tub turned on 48 hours before my arrival. It was not until this moment that I learned the charge for using the hot tub was “165 a day plus taxes and fees” with a minimum charge of 3 days. While the description did say there was a fee to use the hot tub, I feel 165 a day is excessive. If I had known the rate upfront, I would not have booked this property. I live in a resort town, and my power bill is less than 165 for an entire month. Sorry, but this just feels like gouging the customer. There was nothing wrong with the house otherwise. I just like to know what I am paying for upfront.

Beautiful home with modern updates. This was the perfect size for our family of 5. The kitchen was amazing with high end appliances. Plenty of dishes, cookware, etc. We loved having the ice machine to pack our cooler for the beach. The screened room off the kitchen was a great space to hang out in the evening. Backyard space was quiet and private with comfortable seating and lounging. We enjoyed fishing in the lagoon. We loved this house!

I would rate this newly remodeled home a 5 star. But unfortunately the company that manages this rental failed miserably during our stay and made our annual family vacation a bust! We arrived to a home without internet or TV and still wasn't fixed before we left, 6 days later. There was no sense of urgency or timeliness to their efforts of getting the problem solved. In fact, there was an opportunity for Spectrum to fix the problem but because it was after 5pm, the management team didn't have anyone to meet them at the house. We had family members that had to leave early from our family vacation because they were unable to work remotely without internet. Incurred more than 250 in data usage due to no Wi-Fi. Company refunded me 25 a day for the inconvenience 125.00. In addition to the data fees, family had to pay fees to change airline reservations since they had to return early due to no internet.I notified the owner to make sure he was aware of all the issues during our stay. He listened and was apologetic. I would recommend the house and all it's amenities BUT not if iTrip Hilton Head is managing the property.
