New Apartment Marghera

Our hosts were very attentive and we arrived to a thoughtful bottle of prosecco, a tray full of goodies and lots of fridge treats. The arrival instructions were very clear and timely. Communication was exceptional. We were offered for our room to be serviced and breakfast supplies topped up on our second day, which we gratefully accepted. The location of the apartment was within walking distance to all the beautiful sights of Milan and the local area had all we needed - bars, restaurants, cafes and a supermarket. I would not hesitate to recommend this compact apartment for two - 5 stars!

The room decor was slightly dated but it was still very comfortable. Great for our needs. Nothing negative to report.

Super nice hosts, they provided every information we needed. Very clean, comfy beds. Fully stocked refrigerator with water, yogurt, milk, meats and cheeses. Coffee machine and kettle at our disposal. And lots of snacks, biscuits, croissants... Excellent location, very close to metro/subway station.

Good location and close to the metro station. Clean and quiet. Allowed us to leave our baggage after check out.

I found the payment process to be unconventional and dishonest. Not charged when booking through this website, but was sent a message immediately stating I had to pay through Paypal as they do not have a "Pos Bancario". I transferred the amount in USD as seen on booking.com, however due to the conversion from USD to Euros on Paypal and the merchant fees that they didn't count towards the total, they demanded I owed them more money upon arrival. I considered cancelling the reservation immediately, however I could not find an alternative option for the value. Check in was confusing and instructions were not provided. Did not see the name of New Apartment Marghera located on the building intercom. Tried to call the number provided by booking.com, but no one picked up. Someone was exiting the locked gate and let us into the courtyard. I noticed there was a hotel in the building and went upstairs to ask for help on where to locate New Apartment Marghera. Turns out you are supposed to check in at the Hotel Fiorella. Breakfast was prepackaged cookies, candies, pastries and juices that were stocked in the room before arrival. No fresh breakfast was provided.
