    The staff is helpful. Cleanliness was taken care of, beds made and clean towels every Day. The interior of the hotel would deserve a change. But it corresponds to the number of stars.

    We booked Boutique Hotel Calais but upon arrival we were relocated without prior notice to another property, Hotel Villa Giovanna, although we specifically chose and paid for Calais. The room conditions there were very poor: water leakage, cold temperature, thin walls, and constant noise because the room was next to the entrance door. Additionally, Agoda stated that the city tax to be paid at the property would be 14 EUR, but we were charged 32 EUR instead. This was not the accommodation or experience we booked, and it was very disappointing. Please be aware that your reservation may not be honored at the listed property.

    Affordable, clean, staff are also accomodating, safe, near to doumo and city center. We ordered hot water and coffee and they gave it as free on our checkout. We were just confused, how the bed was prepared on our first day because they covered the whole bed with linen that is like a bed cover. My parents were satisfied because the room was in the ground floor which is very helpful for older people. Free wifi. Thank you. We will surely book there again once we go back to Milan.

    Good location and good value. Could probably do with a kettle in the room to make drinks but that is a personal preference.
